The complexity for someone who doesn't know Chemistry is impossible. There are just things you cannot explain by migration

There's nothing there. It's just like food or oil. Once there's the need to satisfy hunger people had to discover edible plants and prepare them. Once there was the need to provide light and brightness people had to look for oil to burn thier lamps. Once there was need for iron people had to experiment and discover ways to use iron ore. You talk as of the ancients were not humans like us. We are here because of how they survived and what they discovered and the progress they made. Many of them discovered this and used them the same way. If they jad all died off we won't be here. It's not that complicated.

2. Finding a suitable flux
3. Building a suitable furnace to reach a temperature of about 1000oC.
4. Raising maintaining the correct mixture at this temperature for up to six hours in a stretch.
5. Hammering out the pig iron

Take a good look around the world? You see different colours of the same specie, different language and cultures in different geographical points.

Culture as we know it influences the religion of a people, cultural difference is bound to instill differences in religious ideologies in these distinct people.

Man always is a curious being and our curiosity drove us on a quest to know and a quest to know led us into many methods of solving it.
Taking a good look at every religion in the world you can detect one or two comparative mythology and fables but in a different style and buttered into the cultural decorum of that particular people.

So differences in religion stems from cultural, social and philosophical differences and in many cases just man following his own ideology and ego independent of the original...
