I saw ur thread on a nairalander slye and ur need to buy a romoss power bank. I sell original romoss power bank but not the type of cartoon paper package romoss the slye guy sell coz thats not from the romoss company but clone from China manufacturer. The romoss solo 5 I sell is international version, with great package in color while and green and its transparent, and romoss seal is on it. I sell the original solo 5 and it cost 5k only. Check out my thread and see for urself.

Where are you? How bad is the battery ?
Re: Lg G3, Anyone??? by lordZOUGA(m): 5:42pm On Jul 29, 2015
I use a LG G3. I have been using it for 7 months now.

it is a very fast device but due to it's screen density it stutters sometimes when going through some animations. if you increase animation's speed or turn them off competely, the device is very snappy and runs through every task without breaking.

The display is really nice, not as nice as the LG G2's (sometimes I find myself staring at the G2's display because everything looks so nice in it) but way nicer than other displays. The display had this weird "oversharpening" issue where texts or some images show some "ghosting" effect on grey backgrounds. You may notice this or you won't but if you stare at the display a lot, chances are that you will. Also, the display is not bright enough. It always looks dimmer than other device's displays.

The battery lasts long that most times, I do forget to charge the device. I can't give you the precise duration the battery lasts for me on an average since the intensity of my usage of the phone varies per day.

No, I don't play games with the device.

I have rooted the device and installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 on it. this fixed the display issues (except the brightness). Now, the phone is fast as f*ck and buttery smooth. Android 5.1 is lag free.

Is your 5.1 the official one ? But how could the G3 with its QHD screen be dull? That's weird.

I don't understand what you meant by "Official" but if you meant Official from LG then no but if you meant Official from Cyanogenmod then yes.

The pixel density of a device actually has nothing to do with the device's brightness. Pixel density affects the sharpness of images and crispness of text. It has no import of how much light a screen emits.

How can you differentiate HD, qHD ,FHD and QHD screens?

I have handled the G3 personally, and I know for a fact that it's so called QHD resolution is not sharp enough. It gets very dull indeed when you activate the power saving mode, or reduce the brightness manually.

That is why it's called "power saving". Its not dull. It just reduces the brightness to the barest minimum. And it does happen when phone is 15percent.
Re: Lg G3, Anyone??? by lordZOUGA(m): 12:00pm On Jul 30, 2015
If you set your LG G3's brightness to its maximum and then bring maybe a Galaxy s4 or The LG G2 with maximum brightness set and place them side by side, you will notice the difference.

I had my G2 for a while after I bought the G3 so I tested this myself.

The display is bright enough for usage but it could have been better.

My S5 even when on Power saving mode is bright enough, especially on dynamic display mode. The same can't be said of G3 where it becomes so dark that you can barely see anything even when you're indoor.

I read somewhere that the human eyes ceases to differentiate the difference in colour density at normal viewing distance, when pixel per inch exceeds 330. So I don't think anyone can really notice any difference between a typical QHD screen and a typical FHD screen that falls within the 330 spectrum. HD display, however, can easily be told apart from the duo because it falls outside the 330.

Story . That was Steve Jobs hypothesis that died with him. Get a phone with 441 ppi and compare it with that of 401ppi you'll even notice the difference when reading webpages or texts, not to talk of 330ppi.

So Steve Jobs was a bullshiter, then? I mean, the man that single handedly revolutionarized apple didn't knew what he was on about?? Okay oh, no comment.

My brother's A7 has 401ppi on a 5.5 inch screen, according to CPU-Z, but to be honest, there is no telling them apart when placed side by side with my S5's 431ppi on a 5.1 inch screen. Theories and reality ain't the same, bro.

Yep, I think he bought it at Kanfanshan (I hope I got the spelling right) when he was serving at Plateaux State.

Using G3 since i think september last year
one word - incredibulous!

Got the 32gig and added a 64gig sandisc memory card
so i have all my music in two places laptop and phone

I have a problem of wanting to listen to a song and it hooks me like im gonna die if i dont hear it
This baby saved me.

Not bothered about how many apps i can download see it, like it, got it...loads o space to spare dude!

Really fast response tie never gotten a hang or anything like that.
Use broadband wifi to enjoy my experience so when any quacks come on NL to try me, i full ground throway for them. seriously what this means is i can actually leave my laptop when im on the road.

Thumbs up to google drive and cloud, need to review a document its just whip it out and bam!
Screen size is big enough for me to see and portable enough to pocket.

Meanwhile that hirl i saw receiving a call with her tablet close to her ear like a phone, ah ahn now? bet why?

Battery lifes really good lasts really long when my subscription runs out, wifi chops battery depending on usage.
Mines the 855 model i think so didnt come with a radio- bummer!

One more thing when the battery is worn like totally dead as in to get a new one phone kinda starts to act funny, some r3tard at slot actually said it was probably cos the memory card was too much for the phone, meanwhile 128gig would still work perfectly.
Went there cos i thought it was a virus, bone head charged me 5k to flash 2 hours later same issue, trust na when the guy saw my face he didnt even ask he just refunded me.

meanwhile had forgotten i was still under warranty. silly me

Now went to LG office somewhere in computer village after inquiring on NL, got a new battery and that was it! baby fired right back up and ive been insulting loads of silly people on NL amongst other things without fear of battery dying quickly.

Like i said wifis a battery drainer, turn that off and youll go for long, played songs on it for long with inbuilt speakers, didnt affect battery much

Got an invite for One plus one, fashied when gsm arena did comparisons, saw the review for one plus two as well, still no match.

I think the G3 is like a mercedes benz its not about how flashy you can get, pop in the hood...burn the competition.

If youre considering getting a phone dude you just hit the jackpot with this.

PS i never thought id ever buy an LG phone in my life, this one shut me the hell up big time...gday mate!

If you have any questions mate, holla.

Kafanchan is in Kaduna state I suppose. I heard that A7 doesn't have notification light, has network issues and very low volume.

It doesn't have a led notification light at the front like the S5 but you can use the primary led flash at the back as a notification light. As for network and volume issues, it's all a myth. The phone is one of the best looking android smartphones out there, makes mine look ugly in comparison.

I want a new phone but just don't like S5, can't afford s6 and LG G4 cos they're over 120k each (can't pay such for a phone), xperia z2 screen and back scratches easily cos it doesn't have gorilla glass and charges very slowly, G3 is scarce. Don't know what to do again.

You can always go for one of those Chinese brands like Huawei, Umi and Elephone.
