Finally Tecno Mobile has a smart phone that runs on android lollipop 5.0. I’ll say kudos to Tecno fans who have been clamoring for their beloved Tech brand to release a smart phone that runs on Google’s latest android lollipop 5.0

I bumped into one of Tecno Mobile’s representative the other day and I noticed he had in his hand an impressive Tecno smart phone I wasn’t quite sure I’d seen on retail shelves before. I courted him for a while to divulge which smart phone he was sampling and he opened up reluctantly on the smart phone.

He was holding a device that he called “top secret for now” but its UI was just too good!
Android lollipop 5.0 has been praised for giving UI designers more freedom to create richer and more interactive UIs. Now I understand why.
The Tecno customized UI runs like it knows what you are thinking, it is a lot more colorful, intuitive and smoother than the android Kitkat 4.4 versions that run on current flagship Tecno Mobile smart phones, and it does all of this without ruining the Android OS feel we have all come to love.

I told my friend I couldn’t wait to get an upgrade with upcoming Tecno flagship devices with the Android lollipop; he said I won’t have to wait long as they are announcing a device real soon.

For this to really count. You have to state specifically what makes the phone substandard. When last did you use a Tecno phone? Which Tecno phone did you use? Sometimes, I think people are just angry that Tecno makes phone that is affordable to all.

I have the BOOM J7--the music phone--I have been using it since May 2015. It is serving me well. Before now. I had the Y4. I gave it to my younger brother and he is still enjoying it.

i could name samsung and HTC devices that are half of those specs but still cost 50k+

I am a TECNO Phone user myself and I haven't had any issues. I have had mine for over a year and it has worked perfectly for me so far. I also just recently got the Tecno Boom J7 which is so cool . I don't know about the people your neighbor sells phones to, but if you use a phone well, it will last.

There's really nothing impressive if you have to buy another phone just because you want to upgrade to Android 5.0. Infinix just released a beta update for their devices running 4.4, why can't tecno?

Nna, beht why are people beefing a product that many people are grateful. Tecno largely drove the dual-sim revolution in Nigeria. They made phones that we can flaunt alongside the big names in smartphone. Biko, hating a good thing is bad for ya health.

Churning out a major software update on a smartphone is not as easy as connecting your phone to a charger. There is a lot of work and time involved. This whole process takes a lot of time and this explains why some phone manufacturers may be slow in pushing out updates. Expect their update soon.

infinix hot note update slowed my phone down, i would never be in a hurry to update my OS again. abeg make Tecno test am well well o make person no go throw way perfectly working Kitkat OS for Lollipop that would be slow.

good that tecno is introducing product with lollipop 5.0. can i upgrade my tecno phantom a3 to kitkat or lollipop? even if manually, i shall be grateful.

Me I no dey understand these haters o. TECNO dey on point! I went to their BOOM party in Abuja and I saw Dammy Krane, chai that boy fine Na me be in main chick! After that party, I go buy TECNO phone sharp sharp. No time to waste time abeg

Frankly speaking, I love TECNO phones, they are very affordable and absolutely incredible. I have been using a Tecno Phantom Z and I just read about this TECNO Boom J7 that everyone is talking about and I am going to buy 1 next week. I don't know why people still keep dissing Tecno, they are the new ish in town.

Stale news, my Tecno Tablet runs on android Lollipop 5.0 and i ve been using it for three weeks now. A great tab i must say.
