Dancing or not dancing to secular music is a personal issue and this does not affect teaching maths, further maths and physics. That school is simply one of those that trample on the esteem of their staff and break them emotionally. Why did they employ you in the first place? To dance to gospel or secular music? Dont get me wrong. I will dance to secular music because I love and can dance. However, there are some personal things I wont do. For instance, If am asked to eat beans and egg just so that they know am a good staff. I wont, why? because thats personal and it wont affect my teaching the student. OP, dont worry yourself, you will come over this. BTW, the school I taught was also in PH . . . Reading comments here show the desperation and lack of jobs for our youth. I dont blame them. . . BE YOU, Op.

i was once in your shoes, i use to teach at a school in Gra ph and i was sacked for not dancing at the assembly ground.

a month later i got a better Job with another company that pays me better than the school.
