Please do not make investment decision based on that.
You will most probably be disappointed. The momentum has been lost.
My guess is anytime from October till January 2016.
I think the market will be mostly bearish till year end.

So many people are expecting a miracle in the stock market once buhari lists his minister. Many will end up becoming broke before year end by this decision. Better pile up your money and watch from the sideline, once you witness a bull jump in immediately.

I currently have no car.
I have almost all the stock s on the NSE worth about 5m.
A wife and a child.
I'm 30years
I have a life extra savings policy with axa Mansrud. worth 500k
2 commercial plots of land worth 2.6m .
my problem is that I am addicted the NSE.
pls should I buy the car now,or invest 450k. then wait and buy the car by next year,?
pls assist here

My guy you have done well for yourself, use 450k to buy a car. Or you can invest your 450k in TB for about 3 months pending the time your dividends will start coming so that you can get a better car.

Since you are not using borrowed money to buy shares and I am sure these are shares you want to hold for another 20 years please do not be tempted to sell your shares. I still bought more shares today.

I see another Asalu in you, my late mentor who got over N8 million dividend from just one company ie CAPL, he always prayed for stock prices to fall and was very active in the market doing bear period.

It is better to remain at the sidelines and keep ur cash piling up until when we witness a bull...Some bought FBNH at N8-N10 thinking it was cheap, now FBNH is N5 and might fall lower. Wait for an opportunity to jump in and stop catching a falling knife. As for those expecting an immediate miracle from access, even of access post a result that is better than all the Nigerian banks put together, it will still wait for its boss FBNH. As long as FBNH falls, access too must fall.
so share it be so i can get money to invest befor the bull's come, stock's keep on going down gtb follow.

Choi! Chai! My brother you are not alone...... Many of us here started same way but have learnt our lessons over time. For now, it may be difficult to sell any cos of very low liquidity nature of those stocks.
I will advice you to do what most of us here did with such stocks. Choose the ones that will be most suitable and applicable to you;
1. Donate them to charity (Hispy, Horlads or KOD penny stock foundations)
2. Transfer them to your children or children's children investment trust portfolio.
3. Convert them to longest term investment(Here you will have to wait till the coy experience a turnaround: May take 10 - 20 years or less if a miracle happens)
Peace

SEPTEMBER ALERT! The questions and concerns about what will occur in September are pouring in. So what is the big deal? First there are facts and there are rumors. One huge rumor is an asteroid is headed to earth and will smash into the planet. This is based upon someone's prophetic prediction. According to friends in NASA there is nothing of this type headed here, and asteroid debris continually enters the earth's atmosphere burning up. The same will be true in September, according to these sources. Second, the fact is about every seven years, there is a major stock market "correction," and one is expected this fall. These usually fall on the Shmitta cycle - a Jewish season that occurs every seven years.
Why this year is there more concern? First, there are nations which have borrowed money they cannot pay back to banks and the IMF. Greece, Italy, Brazil, are a few. The huge drop in oil is good for the consumer, but has nearly crashed 26 small Stock Markets throughout the world. A friend of mine in oil, said to expect many smaller oil companies to close, as they cannot at this price drill for oil, and pay back the loans for rigs and equipment purchased during the high priced oil days. The FEDS have lost control of the national debt, and a lesser discussed concern is there is not enough cash in local banks to handle withdraws if many people begin demanding cash, instead of electronic transfers. If this occurs, look for limited withdraws or bank holidays.
There are many who plan to pull out of the market if a big correction is seen, but others say to stay with the strong companies for the long haul. The real concern in my opinion would be natural disasters hitting the United States. Thus long term food supplies, clean drinking water are important in these areas, especially earthquake prone. We are NOT to live in fear but look for opportunities to minister and "occupy" until Christ comes. When he return, people will be eating, drinking, marrying, planning building and doing business, thus economies will look normal. When things are "good" people stop looking for Christ's return and He surprises the world by coming "in the hour they think not."

Get good deals..

Peace!

300 looks like a herculean task for FO, it has neva climb that high and given the fact that other stocks in same industry are either stagnant or going down.

but i will wait at the sideline anyway.

Forte Oil's gain is something else. It looks like that stock is on steroids o. When other major players are are flip flopping, FO looks like it has a mind of its own. The problem with many speculators is that they get too greedy. If you are a mid to long term investor, some losses or gains may not bother you much, but for all the JIJO maestros out there, this is the kind of situation that has proved the undoing of many hitherto speculators and led to heart break in the past. Know your limit. Be bold where others are fearful, but most importantly, DO NOT BE RULED BY GREED.

If you're ok with your profit, sell now.

People wont tell you till they are done selling and you'll hold the short end of the stick
