Sorry to say but ur installer is not well knowledgeable and just looking for excuses. How can a 4.4m dish motorized for that matter only lock one sat. My bros u should be able to get all kinds of packages with a 4.4m either east or west. My advice is that u try and get another sound installer or link up with any of the expert-FTA guys in the FTA general thread or fta football thread who resides in ur town to help u out. Please don't waste that massive dish because many pple are dreaming about it.

Can u see the picture of the dish? How do u want the dish to move down below the fence? 36E, 68E, 39E, 42E, 56E, 60E.
Even the 3story building would block West signal, nilesat, hispasat.

Tunde all these degrees highlighted, hope you will do something. I just need to track more birds. It is embarrassing getting only hotbird with that big dish and the hotbird is not stable.

According to Tunde (my installer) he said it is motorised. Emma, unfortunately, I cannot relocate to another location. I do not intend to inconvenience anybody. It is actually a massive dish. Getting another hand, I would love to - Do you know someone else who is experience?

I hope i got the name right. The first mistake that your installer did was not surveying the location and giving you a professional opinion on the position of your dish. Without a proper location. Even if you call ADEWEST.He will still return the same verdict.

u have to be sure of what really happened concerning choosing the location, the place we used was the best location. They are two 3story buildings in the same compound with little space. How do u want to track West and East without signal not bn blocked. U have to see the place 1st before concluding.

From what I observed, if you increase the height of the dish it will track almost all the satellite in the east. But west is a no go area, though it can get nilesat 7w on the west.

Tunde, I am shocked you would say this. I did not comment here to lash at you, but to get the opinion of other knowledgeable people. Nobody is a repository of knowledge, we all learn every day. I will not go into details, despite the fact that I got your contact through a nairalander, I believe they are not parties to the contract.

However, we have all collectively agreed that my dish should track more than one satellite. I believe you have taken this into consideration in resolving my issues. Please note you did not do a perfect job for me. My HD packages keep freezing all the time. Where is the perfection in this?

A perfect job entails ensuring the customer is satisfied and I have on previous occasions reminding you on this. You are not doing me a favour. I paid you handsomely on this project. You owe me a duty to keep me satisfied.

@BOSS13 My dear, it's high time you started doing this yourself, it is very easy, I learnt satellite tracking through nairaland after much embarrassment from installers, now with the right tools there is no satellite I cannot track. Dispel your fears and DIY (DO IT YOURSELF)
