The Imo Crisis by Onyegecha(f): 7:41am On Aug 30, 2015
The kernel of the crisis rocking Imo state to day is not that Okorocha has refused to pay civil servants, pensioners, contractors, his hired volunteers(youth must work, uniformed vigilante groups, Imo security network and so on) their due for many months. The crux of the matter is that Imo state has been run aground by a mega greedy, clueless, and visionless emperor.

We saw it coming and cried out but some people were hell-bent on foisting him on Imo people by propagating his many lies and facades as credible achievements. I will like to see Abagworo, Berem and their cohorts defend their master's mindless looting of the state's treasury to the point that nothing works anymore.

So Beremx my sister has also confessed to being disappointed too with Rochas? This is incredible.
Dear,I must commend you for being bold to denounce the man whom you vigorously campaigned for. Is he owing your mum too? Anyway,I admire your sincerity. Kudos.
But sweet heart, why did it take people like you so long to see thru Rochas loud empty noise when people like us were telling you all that Rochas is the biggest scam and rogue to have descended on the whole of south east?
Anyway, some of us will keep praying and working till God remembers Imo state and bless it with a leader with a heart of flesh, not heart of stone.

Aunty,Don't flatter yourself,I have never ever mentioned you.
Been seeing your comments in the political section and it was clear to all NL that you and the likes of abagworo were ardent Rochas admirers and supporters.

P/s,I couldn't have ever mentioned you cos I know your sharp tongue and backlash is legendary and I have a reputation to protect.

No amount of lies and blackmail can make me write against my conscience. The fight against Okorocha is spearheaded by Jonathanian Igbos who have lost out in present reality of Nigerian politics. They boasted before election that they will remove Okorocha but Jonathan was rather removed by God almighty.

I still maintain that he built over 350 schools which alone dwarfs whatever has been done by anybody in the history of Igboland. He is equally giving scholarship from primary to university. These two things far outweigh any other possible comparison.

In a bid to frustrate Okorocha, Jonathan's Government carefully starved Imo State of federal presence or in some instances used its might to frustrate State Government's efforts.

The detractors are now fighting to prevent Imo State from reaping what we have sewn in APC.

He has been there for 4 years and not 8. There are things you do not need pictures to confirm. The schools which were denied by PDP but which they later went to write UBE tags on. That was one of the factors that won the election for Okorocha.

I am sure Jonathan is not responsible for Rochas's inability to pay workers their salaries. He should pay the workers and stop denying them of their hard earned money.

The workers issue has turned to blackmail. I am one of those against him for not paying workers as at when due but there is politics involved. He inherited pensions and gratuities spanning more than 14 years arrears out of which he was paying off in series to the level it is today. Now the liars have twisted this truth and sold falsehood that Okorocha started the owing of pensioners and even organised protests using same people he reduced their arrears to months from years.

I believe he will pay all workers till date but to offset the pension arrears overnight is impossible.

But the Owerri-Port Harcourt Road, Ihiala- Anara Road, Owerri-Okigwe Road and Oba-Nnewi-Okigwe road are still the way FG neglected them. I want Imo people to show full support for Buhari so that what we missed under Jonathan we get from Buhari.

That is the issue you have failed to understand. Those fighting Okorocha and trying to make him insignificant in Igboland are not doing so for our interest as Imolites and Igbos. You only gain when you support. Jonathan neglected us because we did not support him but his supporters are so bitter at the shift of power that they are using every means possible to prevent Imolites from reaping the gains of our Governor's political affiliations.
