A person who has the qualifications and willingness to apply for a PhD position. I read your message to new comers. You have to read it again and correct things like where you used taught instead of thought.

This is not totally true. What is the meaning of the word "intending"? It means: aim, prospective, propose, aspire, hope, expect and so on. Not until when he has the qualification to apply for a PHD position before he can use the word intending. His statement can be translated as "I am a prospective PHD student" or "I am aspiring/hoping/planning etc of becoming a PHD holder". There are so many people with the qualifications to apply for a PHD position but are not aiming/proposing/intending/aspiring of becoming a PHD holder. "He is on track".
It is good to correct ourselves where the need be since this is an intellectual thread, but we don't have to be sarcastic about it. I bet no new comer is coming to mark the grammar of someone that is trying to help him or her with information which is power. One of the characteristics of an effective communication is the ability of your audience to understand the message you are disseminating or passing across; so far this is settled, other things are secondary. Shalom

Bros, it is 30 with ur project of 6 units but in order to ensure u have it right, add 5 or 8 units extra. NOUN can swallow ur results oh.

By semester, any units u and ur fund can carry, not forgetting the limiter of 24 units but don't forget d first paragraph.

thanks boss.
now just one clarification, "30 with ur project of 6 units" does that mean 36units or is the project units in the 30?

lols... Seyi you might be correct as to Kazrem's ultimate destination as regards communicating his intention but his choice of words were wrong. He simply should have said he intends to acquire a Ph.d. The prospective use there has communicated to the rest of us that he has either applied or is in the process of doing such. I majored in communication (broadcast) I also studied Russian language and I can concretely tell you that ambiguity in the use of words causes a gap in the final communication experience. Lastly Kazrem in my opinion seems full of himself, some of us who have been working for a long while, others have a wealth of experiences and are well travelled, hence his condescending tone seems out of place. My opinion anyways.
