Ben carson school of medicine.
My bad.
Couldn't find the course on the tution list, plus never heard that they have medicine in Babcock now.

So do u have an idea of what the tution fee for medicine is like?

You mean to tell me that as at 5yrs ago, law was above 2million, accounting 1.5 even IRM 900 and sumfin thousand

Please read and check again...

Like seriously bro! Feeding and accomodation has increased even the miscellaneous has doubled and theologians are paying over 900,000 and you say "pretty the same"

Pls go back to the list, check your course, pick ur previous accommodation and meal type, add the other fees attached to your course, medicals etc. Then you can say it is "pretty the same"

I studied public health, I paid close to 800k (something around 764k or so)
after my calculations, I'm getting smth close to 1.1million... u dnt expected as a private schl a stagnant tuition fee
I dnt know how increased fees for other courses are cos I have no idea of previous fees but for public health an increase of 300k over 5years shld b expected... I experienced an 100k increase thru my 300-400level
maybe thr r other fees u guys pay for that I'm not seeing here.

Hopefully their parents too can join government and steal money.

Then use the stolen money to send them to an expensive Christian school to learn morals of not stealing.

not all parents are in the senate... But i think some parents just need to cut their coat according to their sizes , dont compete blindly with your neighbour...

Things are not as easy as they seem...
I have a friend who considered private universities after 5 years of hustling public universities. It wasn't as if he didn't pass the post utme, but he soon realized it wasn't about that alone.
The politics involved in gaining admission into a public university is so much that even when he decided to eventually play along, he was at the loosing end and is not like the guy in question is buoyant financially. undecided

But in all, it doesn't justify the actions of these private universities.
make I hear joor. who says that there is politics in gaining admission into public schools? No dey talk wetin you no dey sure of.

Hahahaha! They are doing more than that. Heard the song "Forever Young"? These medical students are being taught how to prevent ageing so there will be no need for death.

I don't see myself spend over 3 million to obtain a Nigerian certificate.
If my parents have that money to spend on me, I would rather go find another country instead.

so, all the students in Babcock have parents in the senate Don't generalize because if we check, we'd find that most children of those in the senate school outside Nigeria.

Not as if job is guaranteed after spending four years in school. Develop ur talent, and let ur talent be ur passion. Bill was a school drop out but he was able to carve a niche for himself in the ICT world because he was able to discover and follow his dream. So why waste ur time in the university studying what is not ur passion jus to obtain a certificate. You mustn't necessarily be college graduate for you to be successful in life.

This is highly laughable considering that there are SA institutions that have 3times better facilities, infrastructure and education that do not even have tuition fees that cost up to $3,000 ( including accommodation and books) then you have this joke of a university hiking fees without anything to show for it? This is sad.

South Africa also has the largest economy in Africa, charges heavy taxes which they use to fund their universities well among other things....and you did not tell us how much tuition costs for international students.

Babcock by contrast receives zero government funding.

P.S- $3000 is N598,000...which is about what it costs in Wits university in SA. (Medicine costs higher).
