Neither can you carry all your staff for 4-5 hour wait at the airport every weekend, assuming you can even find a flight when you want. Have you ever flown a 12 hour flight before? What evangelist is going to try a world missions trip lasting a 3 months flying every two to three days. Even Reinhard Bonnke, on moving to the US, needed a private jet. God so kind, he found a preacher that gave it to him for free!

God bless Pope Franciscus. Humility in the face of plenty. The Catholic Church is the wealthiest Church in the world yet their leader lives a humble life in the midst of that plenty.

Some people might be defending the pentecostal pastors but we know the truth. You say pastors visits many countries in a year? What of the pope that visits multiple in a year?

The point is that we have to live within our means. $2m a year for private jets is a whole lot if money that can put the gospel into reality. How? By establishing schools for the poor, feeding the poor, establishing senior citizens home, home for the lepers, school for the deaf and dumb and the blind too.
My God! This money will go a long away alleviating peoples suffering. Only the Catholic Church does 60% of this in the world. The government does 20% while Non Govt organizations shares the remaining 20% with some good protestant churches.

Let truth be told. The Protestants have to step up their humanitarian game, do away with the lavish lifestyles of pastors and put the gospel not just into the heart and ears of believers but into reality.
