These are the things that are supposed to make headlines every 10 min and not the arrest of someone the law is dealing with already.

So because ejigbo is like this then the whole of Lagos looks like this and lagosians have been scammed..

What was the Local govt looking at before it degenerated to this??
How many complain did he place and he receives salary for stuffs like this.

Mushin road and Yaba road was also bad after people Complained,, they came to repair them.....
Some residents in Lagos have a nonchalant attitude of "what's my business".....They should take these pix to Alausa...
NL can't do anything about the road..

Sorry dear, even the roads that leads to Alausa is unpassable

The only different between this Ejigbo according to your description and Satellite Town is that Ejigbo is dirtier. But they share things in common in terms of bad roads, lack of power supply and total government neglect.

The poverty in the area is on the high side. Parents can not even afford to send their children to school. I leave in the area, i understand what people are passing tru, the mosquitoes in the area are second to none. Govt alone can not do it people. That is why there is an NGO in the area called Slum Achievers Foundation that is contributing its quota to the Slum areas in the society by giving free education to the indigent children who are ready and able. contact them on slumachieversfoundation at gmail.com

undecided undecided undecided

The state of the major road that led to my community continue to make me feel bad. The Old Obadore Road remain bad as it as for the past few years and it seems like the government have neglected it and show no concern. This is a community in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State and Igando/Ikotun LCDA. It is a place where commercial and industrial activities take place. The residents of this community has been in hell for the past few years suffering bad road despite sharing boundary with Ogun State and serving as short cut to other communities in lagos, like Abaranje and Okerube.

The community is also confronted with some

infrastructuralchallenges as the government seems to have neglected Akesan, there is problem of erosion which is caused by the absence of drainage system in the community.

Also, erosion and flooding which we experience year after year in the community are threat to our existence as a community, many families are yet to get over the damages it left behind.

During the period also, cars and other road users are prevented from using the road by erosion and flood. We are appealing to the government, our elected and appointed representativesto carry the community along in the developmental journey of the state. we therefore, appeal to the leadership of the local and state government to proffer lasting solution to alleviate the suffering, many of the affected are traders and residents that are regular tax payers.

LONG LIVE AKESAN!

LONG LIVE IGANDO/IKOTUN LCDA!

LONG LIVE ALIMOSHO LGA!

LONG LIVE LAGOS STATE!

LONG LIVE NIGERIA!

you really need to see the road linking okota isolo and ikotun egbe. that's when you will know that the devil himself has strong powers in making sure that the road never sees the smoothness it deserves.

EJIGBO IN LAGOS:A TOWN ABANDORNED BY GOD AND GOVERNMENT.
this is an island surrounded by bad road.the suffering in this town is so much than the inhabitants are constantly angry..even at present when every part of nigeria is experiencing constant power due to president buhari body language, ejigbo still suffer constant blackout..except few area in it,many other area still share light..even as we try to watch independent parade they have taken the light again yet we pay the highest light bill.up till now power official go about with leather to cut light..the transformers are obsolete..constant light for a full day usually get the transformer burnt..for how long will this continue..i made bold to say if anyone survive can ejigbo he can confidently survive hell fire..no wonder koboko is used to carry out deliverance in some churches there..the demons are stubborn

Stop talking what you don't know, how can u compare hellfire with that. Just use a stick of matches to burn urself and know how it feels. If Jesus could say if your finger or any part of your body will make u go to hell cut it off (in parable), then you will no how hotter the hell is, pray not to be there. As for that your area God will touch the Government and they will see to your plight.

That's Fashola's Lagos for you. Most roads in the inner part of Lagos are in terrible shape; always have been. But they use media hype to cover up.

This is very sad.
Very sad.

16 plus years of progreTHIEF administration- Tinubu/Fashola/Ambode with

- Annual budget increased over 10 times from N42 billion in 2000 to N489.69 billion in 2015. The state budget has been consistently above N450 billion since 2011.
- Annual IGR increased over 53 times from N7.2 billion in 1999 to N384.26 billion in 2013.

Why should we still have people live like DOGS and PIGS in any part of Lagos
More importantly HOW did we vote these people back into power?
Are we truly 200 million mumus? embarassed embarassed
