Fighting for committee positions is all they care about and not about making any people oriented laws.

Rather than condemn what is wrong and ask for good governance ,we are busy taking sides with some foolish politrictian while things are getting worse in the country. The future is in our hands o. They are the Minority, we are the majority. WE put then there to work for us and not the other way round. I am yet to see how these people have helped raised the standard of living in Nigeria. check out Niger Delta na....my brothers and sisters are complaining, My eastern brothers and sisters are complaining, my family from the north are complaining, My western brothers are complaining too. Everybody is complaining, wailing, crying,"NIGERIA O ! NIGERIA O". For how long shall we continue to live like this? For how long?


I thought the youths will be wiser. From what i have seen here on Nairaland, i shake my head. This is how it is being passed from generation to generations.We never learn. They call us the common man, the man who depends on them to feed.
My brothers and sisters, Make una shine una eyes! wisen up! use your brains, think this through. Rather than take sides with politicians we should be blunt and ask for what is ours: GOOD GOVERNANCE.

Always about money, power, oil, positions, allocations, etc.

When shall we hear of lawmakers rising from a meeting in anger bc the president refused to build a school or governor refused to equip a hospital, or bc an airport is not working well, or bc oil refinery is not working. When shall we hear that lawmakers exchanged blows bc some wanted money for tarred roads while others wanted it for electricity development.

And somehow, in all pf this, we are comfortable and relaxed, watching this.

What a shame

This is the worst National Assembly since 1999. No show of legislative independence. Is the legislature not a different arm of government? They must not follow in the dictate of the excutive. APC is just a party of jokers and mediocrities. No serious legislative activity since inauguration.
Nigerians have been scammed by a bunch of political thugs in the name of change. I hope we are wiser next time.
