hello my ATL mums, I'm so happy

quotation i received by God's Grace if everything goes well...
hospital bill - 3500
physician + pre and post natal, lab work, ultrasound,e.t.c -2500
and the most exciting pediatrician fees -200

can you beat that!!!

I guess I can beat that!

Hospital bill - 3550
Dr (pre+post natal) - 1000
Lab test (they don't accept any test from nigeria )- 650 includes ultrasound.
Well didn't ask abt pediatrician fees.
But i want to try them out before throwing it out to the house.

For all those sending PMs I'd post the details here once confirmed

It's better she makes a new passport claiming she lost d old one as that is what I did when my application for Canadian visa was refused .I had to do a fresh passport and tendered it to usa embassy and I got my 2yrs visa .if she dare go to usa embassy with that passport, tendencies is that she will be refused visa.

Austine2020:
Please my fellow nairalanders, My wife has been a frequent traveller to Germany since 2009 Having up to 5 schengen visas in her old Passport & 1 USA visa issued Last year in her new passport, but have used the US visa two times for Vacation last year & this Year. But to my surprise And Unexpectedly she was rejected a Schengen visa today & stamped her passport. I dont know if it was because she didnt travel to Europe last year. So please my question is, will the rejected stamp affect her US Visa when she will be renewing her US visa via drop box next Year May, when her US visa will Expire? or is it better for her to go for interview incase if they asked question about the rejected Schengen Visa? or can she make a new passport and tell them that she lost her passport and the Visa.

The process to even get a new passport is so difficult. Also, I beg to differ, she won't be refused based on the shengen refusal.

People need to stop giving others bad advice on here.

You don't need to lie about losing a passport to get another visa. I'm a frequent traveler and I've run through 2 passports in less than a year before and I'm currently on my 6th passport. With all that, I got denied a Schenghen visa via the Spanish embassy this year. Guess what... I still got another Schenghen visa after that for Norway.

Being denied a visa does not mean a passport is now useless. There are people here that have applied for the US visa 3-4 times before they were successful. Who knows what would happen if that deception is found out.

I know people generally give good advice here but we should also discourage it when people give bad advice

Thanks Enyinne. Is yours renewal when u claim to have lost it or first Visa.because hers is renewal. If yours is renewal too,Did u renew it via Drop Box or u went for interview before u got back your 2 years Visa. is there any other document u presented to the embassy to back up your claims that u actually lost your passport, like police report or any other document. Thanks in anticipation.

My bro please don't lie.

Being refused a visa previously is NOT grounds for denial. You can go through all that process and still get denied so what would you do then?

Just be honest.. you'll get your visa...

This is the kind of stuff we do that gives Nigerians have a bad reputation!!!

Thanks Nogen, for always coming to rescue of inexperienced missionaries.
Several people here have said that I should do my shopping when I get into the US, so I guess that has been partially addressed. But you know how it is with triplets; were you really able to shop before delivery?. I will be traveling alone at 23 wks GA, but my mum and husband will come like 2weeks to delivery. My main concern bothers on being able to get all that I require before my trio show up. Pls share your experience and any advice. Thanks a lot.

Alright thanks Donugapi, she will do as u said. But the visa will expire next year in May,& she has used it twice already. We are just looking for a better solution & best way to overcome the whole situation,so that it doesnt affect her US visa renewal when the time is due next year in May.

My pleasure sis. Congratulations dear. As soon as you get there, try and buy all (basic things) that you would need before and just after the babies arrived. After delivery, when you have gotten enough strength and you have people who can help you out with the babies, you can go buy most of the things they will use as they grow. The reason is that you may not be able to shop as much as you would have loved to due to the pregnancy. Movement will become difficult at some point. You can send me a pm so I can give you further tips as I remember them.
Also, if mummy or hubby can make it ealier than that, the better for you. You would need someone beside you most of the time because as you progress, you won't be able to do much anymore. You will become mostly DEPENDENT. Even getting up or laying down on the bed will become quite tasking on your legs and waist. I'm not trying to scare you but it is an amazing experience. Make sure one of them is there with you early enough.

There is no need to lie.. besides if she gets a new passport, she's no longer eligible for dropbox cos the requirement is that your previous visa must be seen.

Thank you, all these bad advice will only get her into more trouble. That one country denied you a visa is no yardstick for another country to deny you. I remember years ago the very 1st visa i applied for (uk) was denied, a week after with the same passport i applied and was issued a Us visa

Thanks anizi, i appreciate. i will do as u guys said,Since every one advice was the same except Enyinne. My wife might still use it for vacation for the 3rd time before the expiry date in May.To make her case look more easy that after the Schengen rejection, that she has traveled to the US again and come back.

She can apply for Schengen again through germany. They hardly reject applicants except for false documents. D only snag is that they are specialists in given days visa grin

Hello everyone please I would like to know if anyone has recently used Doctoresparati recently as thats what im using at the moment, I have paid abouthalf of the hospital fees about $2700 dollars, rest would be paid in cash upon arrival, can anyone with knowledge of them tell me of their experiences and all. Plus does anyone know of any cheap and affordable accommodation which is close to the hospital, I plan on using palmas and Desol Healthcare. P.S im coming with my mother and daughter.

2. Im moving back to Nigeria from UK after living in the uk for six years, im due in february 2016 by Gods grace, would have waited to have my baby but home office has made things so difficult so hubstar and I decided to move back home, now my pregnancy is already classed as high risk as a result of excess amniotic fluid from my first pregnancy and also cos of my weight , i have my pregnancy notes from the uk to prove that. I have read in past forums about proving ties to nigeria but in my case what do i do, hubby and my father are willing to sponsor my trip, i was a stay at home mum in the uk once i had my daughter in 2014 after my mba but my husband was working , i dont know what else i need to prove as husband has a land he acquired in nigeria in both our names , we also have our own house in our name, i am taking our daughter with us as hubby has to sort things in terms of job and all out before the arrival of this baby. My sincere reason for having this baby in the us is i have never experienced naija healthcare in terms of pregnancy and the stories i have heard too scary and 2. my first baby was 4.2kg and i had vaginal delivery o my midwife and gp told me i could do it and they encouraged me, in naija na CS straight as i heard so i really need this to work out and oh to be sincere the passport of course lol. I have already set an interview date for myself my mother and my daughter. My mother has travelled twice to the us but I and my daughter, haven't. Sorry for the long story but I rili need to explain my situation in full so you all understand what im working with. Thanks

You have been answered before na.

You don't have a visa and you have paid some bills? Hmmmmm hope you know that doesn't increase your chances. You shld just b able to prove (bank statements et al) that u can pay ur bills

The last time u said ur hubby didn't av a job, does he have a job now?

If nothing has changed since u asked the last time... There's really nothing new to add. You really need to b prepared. I suggest u read part 1 at least
