Oh yes! That is exactly what zero account means. It's a crime, punishable by US law, if you do not finish all the money you traveled with. Peradventure your money mistakenly remains, dash it out before heading home. tongue tongue

I used methodist and of course they included extra bills that had nothing to do with me. I'm still on the matter. I wish I ported initially, they are not straight forward at all.

I used FedEx for my notorised consent form, sent it late on Tuesday and it was received Friday morning, it cost roughly 12k
Thanks. I'll try them. That's a lot cheaper than Dhl. Sigh.

@Oliviah you have been given sound advice. Very detailed sef. And in conclusion told to read the threads.
In my opinion, this your reasking of opinion will not help U cos it Means u have not formed yours . No superman idea will jump out and be different from the ties advice already given to u.
U are the one going for the interview and nobody else.

Thanks anizi, i appreciate. i will do as u guys said,Since every one advice was the same except Enyinne. My wife might still use it for vacation for the 3rd time before the expiry date in May.To make her case look more easy that after the Schengen rejection, that she has traveled to the US again and come back.

This matter is not as serious as you are carrying it on your head

Relax!!!! It's just a visa. She doesn't need to travel 3 times to show herself worthy of a renewal

P.s once u can't produce your old visa you DON'T qualify for Dropbox anymore so forget this lost passport business

Hi Everyone.
Pls I am trying to locate any other triplet mum on this thread. Pls let's rub minds if you are here.
I will be traveling in December but delivering in February. All the missionary journey gurus in the house, pls do you advice that I carry my babies' stuffs (clothes, car seats, etc) from here or should I do my shopping when I get there. 3 babies no be beans o! I am beginning to feel overwhelmed. I still have so much to do.
Pls help a sister. Expecting your kind responses.
Thanks.

Mama beta wink you can also consider online shopping. Most have free delivery if you spend up to 50 dollars and u can always return whatever did not meet up to expectation

Depending on what you want to buy there is walmart, Macy's, toys r us, etc

Wrong approach sweetie.buy as much as possible if shipping is reasonable smiley because prices are not smiling here o and shops are not really stocking because of the crazy exchange rates.
Check Alade market in Ikeja thou. My advise is buy enough baby food, diapers in different sizes and a variety of cereals to introduce baby to from 4 months, baby clothes and shoes to toddler age, baby wipes(refill ones not the plastic containers),etc.
All the best.

I guess I can beat that!

Hospital bill - 3550
Dr (pre+post natal) - 1000
Lab test (they don't accept any test from nigeria )- 650 includes ultrasound.
Well didn't ask abt pediatrician fees.
But i want to try them out before throwing it out to the house.

For all those sending PMs I'd post the details here once confirmed

Missusadey... I'm still waiting for your info o. By God's grace I'm making the choice of a Dr this week as baby is due Christmas day. So basically no luxury of waiting to see if they're good. Once the Dr has a licence I'm okay. I no need the extra mile... lol... so I've pm'ed you, just the doctor's name and number... thanks for the share

You have to call them back or visit them for clarification. Some times, d person you talked to on phone doesn't know a shit abt what he/she is talking abt. Someone I know used same hospital and had same issue but everything was later sorted out and she paid wey less than what was quoted and asked for discount ontop.

I applied for Dropbox with my new passport o! But I guess I attached the old one to it
feddy27:

There is no need to lie.. besides if she gets a new passport, she's no longer eligible for dropbox cos the requirement is that your previous visa must be seen.

My pleasure sis. Congratulations dear. As soon as you get there, try and buy all (basic things) that you would need before and just after the babies arrived. After delivery, when you have gotten enough strength and you have people who can help you out with the babies, you can go buy most of the things they will use as they grow. The reason is that you may not be able to shop as much as you would have loved to due to the pregnancy. Movement will become difficult at some point. You can send me a pm so I can give you further tips as I remember them.
Also, if mummy or hubby can make it ealier than that, the better for you. You would need someone beside you most of the time because as you progress, you won't be able to do much anymore. You will become mostly DEPENDENT.

Powerful Nogen, I would love to meet you grin
She can also shop online and have Items delivered (what fun is in that thought grin),

Firsttymum, go with this advice o. I didn't ship anything when leaving and I regret that cos I had to change diapers when the one I got over there wasn't seen here o. And indeed prices here are not smiling due to forex rate

It's better she makes a new passport claiming she lost d old one as that is what I did when my application for Canadian visa was refused .I had to do a fresh passport and tendered it to usa embassy and I got my 2yrs visa .if she dare go to usa embassy with that passport, tendencies is that she will be refused visa.

She can apply for Schengen again through germany. They hardly reject applicants except for false documents. D only snag is that they are specialists in given days visa grin

Serious days! My former colleagues were given four days visa for a three days conference, I wrestled to get 2weeks for same journey cos I insisted I needed extra days for shopping and travel to another schengen state to see hubby.

Come Austin delete that your earlier thought from your brain cos its not worth it all. As a regular customer to those mofos I can tell you that you can still return that passport to another of their member embassy with same document and will be issued. I am on my third passport in less than four years not cos I wish but cos of their silly policy, I ve got stamp or two stamps too, in fact the last one I reapplied after 3days to same embassy after I changed the mode of application and I was issued, that was my last in that embassy.
