Emyemyberry:Since he took over power, Buhari so far has recorded the highest killer of innocent Nigerians yet some people who are bent on turning this country down will clap, dance in favour of the dumb man call Buhari, forgetting that once you praise a foolish man and riff raff like Buhari, all his bones will be energized, his brain regions will change and before you know it, the degree of his madness will increase. When he was a military head of state, he recorded the highest killer. He recorded the highest jailer and now just few months into power, he had scored abi recorded the highest killer. The Shiites innocent people killed comes to mind. Buhari is evil. 2 Likes 1 Share |

adioolayi:you dont know what you"re talking about! Let me school you small...an increase in production costs will translate to an increase in cost of goods and services...lets take foodstuffs and other basics stuffs you use in your house like soap, cream etc into consideration, most of the raw materials used to make these stuffs and machines are imported, the naira power having dropped means u"ll have to use more naira to purchase those machines and raw materials therefore these companies will increase the cost they sell to you because cost of production has increased, they"ll probably lay off workers, meaning those people that have families that depend on them will be broke, cant pay school fees, bills etc, leading to social vices like crime, prostitution etc...ds just a tip of the iceberg from a layman's point of view;it's going to have a chain reaction my friend, and gradually,it"ll get to you...you cant escape it! 3 Likes |

godoluwa:Between the last administration which didnt save and the present administration which met a virtually empty treasury 7 months ago, in all honesty and putting partisanship and sentiments aside, who do you think takes more of the blame? Even if a common vulcaniser or bus conductor on the street doesnt know this, I'm sure you are educated enough to know the answer. An import dependent country means there's a lot of forex outflow. To balance that outflow, the country's main source of forex inflow is from crude but crude prices have crashed. Implication is that there is more outflow of forex than inflow, thereby creating a scarcity of forex. With laws of demand and supply, scarcity of forex means the price will jump up. The CBN has then placed very tight restrictions on forex to preserve the little we have, that has created even more scarcity, hence the very high cost in the parallel market. The only solution to the above is an alternative source of forex inflow by diversifying the economy (agriculture and solid minerals); achieving that is unfortunately not something that can be done within 7 months, or even 3 years. So for those blaming the present administration for not diversifying in 7 months (a feat which couldnt be done by pdp in 16 years and GEJ in 5 years), it is either they are ignoramuses or just feigning ignorance for sentimental reasons. The issue is very elementary to understand for any educated person, but sentiments seems to have blocked the understanding of many. 4 Likes |
