One last question before you close the thread and many thanks to the owner for allowing you to showcase this beautiful work if not i would not have decided on this interlocking sample.

Question: When laying this interlocking sample, is there any need to first of all lay nylon or tarpaulin underneath.

Edited: I have seen the pix where nylon or tarpaulin was placed underneath.
