Op you can lie for Africa ooo,not all school meals are free abroad, while I was in primary school in naija,it was private anf we were given good meal...don't tell me the pictures of the Nigeria meal from above is the same as the one that they give them in Nigeria private schools..... And like someone said u don't expect them ro give them pork,paprika,cheese etc in Nigeria if it's not part of our cuisine and mind you those grapes don't grow in Nigeria so what should the govt do in this case?

I disagree. These are not meals for pupils. How come the pictures were taken on the same table and in similar dishes for all the countries except the first two? They are pix from a restaurant somewhere.

I doubt the sincerity of purpose of the op...while Madagascar and Nigeria pupils were shown, why are those of Greece US Brazil and co were not shown? And besides, do these countries also use the same plate to serve their pupils? Did anyone notice that?

My take? it is different meals prepared by same person and nothing to suggest it is for school children...

Having seen some of those meals in real life and in pics of friends' kids in schools, they are not really far from it.

Remember meals change daily. The French one might contain baguette/French bread stick lump next day.

Problem with 9ja is embezzlement. Not much left to buy decent trays/plates to serve the food. Even cooks will corner rice, garri, beans, ingredient and take home.

I think we should just focus on empowering parents to feed their children at home instead of feeding them in school and creating avenues for the spread of disease, considering our hygenic standards in this country. If I had a child in public school in Nigeria, I'd never allow for anyone to feed them in school.
