The institutions the NUC discredit on yearly basis, if they were up to standard, would they have been discredited?

Have you forgotten that Amaechi MANAGE to graduate with a 3RD CLASS DEGREE IN ENGLISH from the University? These things are just too difficult for him to comprehend. AAre you not aware he is the one who championed the depleting of the Nation's reserves against the advice of NOI? Amaechi is a WASTE! A lot of times I wonder where ROTIMI is from.

I ask again, do we have any institution in Nigeria for the said purpose? Is NIMASA asking Amaechi for money or hasn't contract been awarded already?

I am a Niger Deltan, politics anywhere is about interest. Our interest within the State is very important to me, just like the interest of the yorubas is important to a Yorubaman.

What is the aim of the University that we cannot achieve in Oron where they have all the necessary infrastructure?....Rotimi Amaechi.

Is Oron not Niger Delta again?

Amaechi said those men should return the money. We have a lot to do with money now that there is no money in the country because of your GEJ and their cohorts.

“If the current problem with Amaechi is that he is not performing, I will say Jonathan, congratulations. If the current problem with Amaechi is because he is corrupt, I will say Jonathan, I congratulate you 10 times. If the controversy is because security is down in Rivers, I will say Jonathan I congratulate you 100 times. Right now, Jonathan, I don’t congratulate you at all. I say shame on you because you are not doing what is expected of you as a President.”

“If we go by proportion, say Jonathan take what you have done in any area at the national level, and take what Amaechi has done as governor of Rivers in that area, Amaechi scored better in education, health, security; the governor scored one million times better. In Rivers before now, security was bad. In Port Harcourt, which is a garden city of joy, nobody was going out. Amaechi stopped all that. Now you can go out in Port Harcourt and stay till anytime.”....Prof. Tam David West.

Educate me please, are you saying NIMASA sourced funds independent of the budget to deliver this without government money being spent and were then stopped from proceeding?

With regards to your last point: a prosperous and well run Nigeria is good for all the people in it, not one that continues to fail to reach its potential because of myopic ethnic interests being put ahead of the national one in childish games of false one upmanships - it is called winning the battle and losing the war and that is all ethnic myopia leads to - a dwarf of a country.

Why is Amaechi getting supporters though? I'm sure most of his supporters are Tribalists. What's wrong with The Petroleum Training Institute? Who's laying claim to it? Was it not due to the marginalization that they indigenes of Effurun staged a protest? What's wrong with Warri? And what does Amaechi mean by who'll attend it? Are there not worse universities in Nigeria?
What is wrong with the same Warri that houses Warri refineri? Is PH more secured that Warri?

TonyeBarcanista will do anything to tarnish the name of the best Politician Niger Delta ever produced to keep his corrupt goons in power. If not, what is wrong in securing the scarce resources we have now that the Crude Price is pummeling.

You want to use an ethnic or tribal propaganda to turn the Niger Delta people against the man who did the most for them.

Please speak for yourself and your corrupt Politicians. Do not make it look as if you are speaking for the Niger Delta.

I support the establishment of The uni but don't want it in Warri. Warri has a strong track record of chasing away anything good. The Petroleum Uni there has been marred by infighting amongs Warri indigenes who think it is their exclusive property. There are many place more seren and with more water bodies than Warri.

Understand which position? Tell me in one sentence what your point is? Is it not Amaechi stopped the building of a University in the Niger Delta?

It is mere Propaganda. Amaechi said we can achieve the same aim with the Institution at Oron? Oron is in the Niger Delta. Improving it to achieve the same aim of a University is nothing short of Genius.

It will save the country and the Transport Ministry Billions of Naira, achieving the same aim. If you are not biased and Partisan, you should applaud the Brilliant move.

I won't be hypocritical here. Every relationship has to do with interests of the people involved. The reason why the constitution demands 36 ministers(minimum) each per state is because those ministers though servants of Nigeria, they sit in the cabinet to represent the INTeREST of their states. It has nothing to do wt tribalism.

@your first, contract was awarded by the last administration.

Amechi will one day pay for all his sins against Niger delta.

Can you list his sins or you are also swallowed by the tribal Propaganda fed to you.

Do you read the news at all to know Nigeria is close to a crisis? You want him to pay for what?

Building Bridges and Flyovers,
Building 500 top class public schools, better than any in the country.
Building a top class stadium, sending Niger Delta children to school with Sandals, Socks, Uniforms, Books and School fees free of charge.
Fighting for Rivers Oil wells GEJ stole,
Constructing lots of roads with covered drainages.
Building top class hospitals and providing free health care for his people.
Building nice health centers or paying for surgeries for Nursing mothers with antenatal complications.
Improving the security in Rivers State and securing lives and property.

Or is it chasing the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria. Please tell me the sins.

This project he wants to undergo will save Nigeria billions of Naira and achieve the same aim in Oron.

Please tell me the sins.

State is not suppose to offer things directly, persons are suppose to. So what does the average Warri person offer the presense of a govt owned institution?

Amaechi is running his ministry and he has a lot to do with limited funds. People can overlook projects that are seen as lasted but someone like Amaechi who we know carried out a lot of work as a Governor has plans and things to do with money.

He has said he will achieve the same aim with Oron. Let us wait and see what he will do with the money he will save.

He already talked about also upgrading the institution in Zaria to a University. That is killing two birds with one stone and there will still be leftover from the money.

How someone can tag this a wrong decision baffles me.

You need not break a sweat to know where OP is going & coming from. But either ways ND gains. I find it rather consequential to align with amaechi's informed much explicit point of view. The contributing values of having an up- to- par institution far outweighs siting blocks of similar institutions in the same region. Given the hardest of times, pragmatism is key. A similar example is Aregbesola building a new airport where one is close by. All these infrastructures comes in handy with time but as we speak, let's upgrade the existing ones. Amaechi has the best interest of ND at heart. You are pardoned for the own-goal-gaffe.
The truth has spoken!
