i think that is meant for the atheist.psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. the shunning of the word of God and questioning its authenticity are expressions inspired by demons. There was a time i defied my self to prove the existence of God (i was unenlightened then) as i was gathering on mind so many extunuating circumstances to prove that God do not exist, it was going like a debate (proposing & opposing)suddenly i remembered the bible,i noticed that the wisdom, insight,revealing prophecies that emanates from it can't possibly be the work of man! I was about 7 or 8 yrs old then. I remember we got a house maid from the village. Early in the morning, she was already up for morning duties. She was so agile and hardworking, my parents got to like her. As time passed by, i grew fond of this our new house maid as a child, i always went to play with her together with my younger brother.
My parents were not born again christians then but they had taught us a very simple prayer b4 we eat. D prayer went like this.. 'Oh Lord bless this food for Christ sake,Amen'..
This very day we were eating beans. I, my brother & the housemaid. We were all together in her room. Then as we were about to eat, I told my brother 'remember mommy&daddy said we should always pray b4 we eat'... The housemaid said it didn't matter, that why should we pray in the first place.. I ignored her. As i was praying with my brother, I cud see her sneering at us with an angry look(sometimes you can still see with the eyes close, its a gift). We started eating, she was sitting on the bed, then she started dropping food on the ground. When we asked her why she did that, she would say she had friends under the bed who ate the food. She once told me she flew at night with her so called friends for witchcraft meetings. I thot it was a joke. Somtimes she talked to herself & when asked, she wud say she wasn't alone.
This housemaid gave us so many strange things to eat, things I don't wish to remember. My parents would be fighting all the time, almost on the brink of divorce, my father's business was crumbling all of a sudden, even my mother's too, the house maid wud even insult and fight my mom. Things were falling apart at an alarming rate. One night i escorted her somwhere & I found myself holding an old woman. I was panting, thot i was lost. While searching for her, I realized she was hurrying home already without me.. I spotted her from a distance & quickly ran back to her.. Sooooo many strange things happened, but to cut the story short.
As God wud have it, one very night. Maybe, for the first time we said a family night prayer. She went to sleep in her room. Few mins later, she rushed out panting, telling my Dad some white looking figure gave her a hot slap. My dad didn't understand, he told her to go back to sleep. She ran out again saying the same thing gave her a hotter slap. It happened again the third time. She said she would not dare enter the room again. She cudn't sleep that night. Then my parents were worried & took her to a church for deliverance the next day.. It was discovered that she was a full fledged witch assigned to our family to destroy our lives. And the demon spoke thru her threatning her to not confess Jesus Christ as her Lord.. The demon fought hard. At the end, she confessed Jesus & fainted.
The next day, my parents sent her back to the village sharp sharp. She died d same week of demonic torment.
This story has been cut short, but i hope it would be an eye opener for someone here to be cautious of whom you bring into your home to look after your kids. God bless you all

Spiritual gifts are used to edify the Church(people of God). Everyone has a special gift, it could be revelations, discerning of spirits, healing, prophecy etc. The gift is not actually for the person who has it but for helping other people. Some people can see a demon in a person and know the person needs deliverance, some with the healing gift can pray for a person and the ailment goes away quickly, some can have deep dreams & revelations about others and warn the person on time thereby averting an accident or death. Most of us here have experienced these things. I have been instrumental in warning people about untimely deaths etc. This thread is to help people understand their gifts better thereby allowing God work thru them, exposing the deceits of satan. That's why we share our experiences, so that people even without these knowledge can be cautious and stick close to God.

He thought he had seen a client. He gladly was telling me his art. I said OK, do you also cure demo possessed people? He said, "ah ah, dat one na small thing nah", just bring the person, and now now, I go destroy the demon. I said OK, how do you destroy this demons since they are spirit beings? He said by consulting with his Spirits. They will tell him what to do, and now now, he will destroy them. I said, do you know that demons have names? I asked him if he knew the name of the demons who sexually molest people in their sleep? He said he didn't k of their names. I started by telling him some names of demons based on what I learned here. I asked him if he inherited the herbalistic tendencies or he acquired them by himself? He said he inherited them.
I asked him if he knew who Christ is? He said Yes, am a Christian, I go to redeem church. Do you have a bible? He said yes, Do you read the Bible? He said yes. He said, there are psalms I will give you now, if you fast with them, whatever you ask, you shall receive. I said OK. At that point I brought out my Bible I said show me the psalms, he couldn't I played cool. I made him feel comfortable in his job. When he told me that, he expected me to leave immediately, but instead, I sat down in the sun for 2hrs talking to him. Base on the info I gathered from this thread, I was so bold to talk to this man. He confessed that, no one, male or female has ever had the kind of courage I had to look him in the eyes and tell him, he is worshipping Satan. He said, when he told me he was an Herbalist, he expected me to turn and leave like others. He said everyone who hears he is a Herbalist turns and leaves, but I stayed and shared the word with him. He was so grateful that I didn't treat him the way others had always done. I told him I was not there on my own, I am an ambassador representing Christ, so I carry the totality of Christ in me. He asked why I didn't leave, I told him I loved him and won't want him to go to hellfire. He was looking at me like I was some strange lady. After I opened the Bible to show him what it meant to be what he was, and what the people in the Bible did after they met Christ, after that, he accepted to give his life to christ. I asked him if he will willingly burn up his herbalistic items, he said yes. Well, I didn't stay to see him do that, I had to leave. I took him through the Sinners prayer, and prayed for him afterwards. I leave far away from that area so following him up personally Will be a challenge for me. I directed him to a church close by, but he told me he has an Aunt who is afraid of coming close to him because of who he is, (he said, if you just mention my name, my sister will tell you to go far from me, because am a herbalist), but that she worships with Winners Chapel , and base on what he has seen from her, he will want to follow her to Winners Chapel. I said OK, I took the lady's number, to call and make sure she tries to follow him up. I will too. Praise God.
oyeludef: well the first stage is counseling and the individual has to be very open and sincere. From the counseling, you will be able to discern if the cause of the problem is from a demonic source and what the demon is holding on to (mayb a family covenant, a way of life e.tc). Just like Jesus did, you should ask wen d problem started and how often d person gets attacked. During counseling you will also open the scriptures to show d individual d finished work of Christ concerning his/her deliverance and make them realize that the devil has been cheating them ignorantly, that its totally the will of God for them to be free. As soon as d individual desires deliverance, he/she is several steps ahead already. Deliverance is not a ministry limited to few individuals, as soon as you are actively serving the Lord, you will be confronted with cases and you may have to step in immediately. Sometimes even in a prayer meeting the Holy Spirit will make ppl demonize to manifest it. I remember one day back on campus wen the Holy Spirit asked me during a prayer meeting to request that those who needed to be baptized in the Holy Spirit step forward. Ppl did and almost immediately two sisters began to manifest evidence of demonization (its different from being slay in d spirit because it brings torment to d individual). My spiritual understanding at that time was still very shallow so some sisters took dem out and i went there to minister to dem but it was a very exhausting task because i never counseled, never sort to know if dey wanted to be free. I stayed there and devil was entertaining and deceiving me. It was getting late nd i had to go back home. I just used faith to cover up on my failure but deep within me i knew those sisters weren't free yet, i left depressed. For you b effective in the ministration of deliverance, you need to go tru d tutoring of the Holy Spirit on d subject matter. Wat i first did was to take my Bible and read tru the gospels i.e matt-john and I used a red marker on every part dat tells about Jesus encounter with evil spirits (actually mark gospel contained most of it and John gospel contains less or even non cos John focused more on Jesus personality dan was he was doing). Remember that as you read this and understand due to the teachings of the Holy Spirit, wen u r confronted with situations where you need to step in, the Holy Spirit will give you counsel on what to do based on wat He taught you.

Happy new month guys! NEED ADVICE ASAP. Cc: analice, charlyG,etc. - after my pume and jamb in one of d state univer in SS last year i wasnt abt to gain admsn. I opted in to look for a job waitinq for admsn and rewriting diz yr. One of d nights after, i dreamt some1 tellinq nt to go to a particular place i applied(computr biz), 2 days later i first felt reluctant befor i went. D day i went, d pesin workng dere who av bin absent for mnths came back dat same day. I had to leave and luck for a teaching job, after being employed i had to do a work in d cmpter place d guy told me i can cme cos d guy wrking is going to skul, i had to go back and leave d teaching... As of now am doinq very well dere, and he can leave for hours witout being afraid of losing customers. My issue here is that, i dont attend weekly activities again i usually feel tired after work to d extent i can't even have felowshp wit d holy spirit has at d time i received him newly; i feel i need to work and have money for my pume becos am buying upto 5 forms to secure more uportunty of admission. You must trace the open door in your life which has given a demon(s) into your life to cause you fear and oppression.
Controlling people in a dream seems like fun but its a demonic deception to let you think you have power of your own. Its soul travel or what we call astral travel in the astral world. This will definitely open you up to demons.
You may have a gift no doubt but be aware that Satan and demons seek to use that gift for their own agenda. So they tend to manipulate your soul and lead you into witchcraft. Demons and agents of demons will try to initiate you. They tried that on me so many times but it didn't work because of God in me.
I believe in my heart that you know the open door in your life. That sin you started committing that started all these problems. Stop it. Cut off every demonic ties with Satan and demons using the blood and name of Jesus. Stop any sexual sin you are committing. A demon that is attracted to you on a bed is either a sexual demon or a familiar spirit in most cases. If it's touching you sexually, check yourself. Are you committing a sexual sin that is attracting it? Masturbation, fornication or even sexual thoughts? Check yourself. If a demon like that comes again. Use your authority in Christ and command it to flee.
One thing about people of God who see through the spirit realm is that when they start committing sexual sins and demons start flocking around them, God still gives them the ability to see these demons. Somehow it's even good you see the demons, because it makes you become aware that there is a problem. Unlike not seeing them at all. Seeing them is like God showing you what they are doing to you, so that you can do something about it. Though the experience may be quite frightful and unpleasant, it helps to face the demons using the authority in the name of Jesus. It should make a person get up, repent and fight!
Some demons can stay hidden and undetected in a person's life for years. But when a person can see them, then that's a leverage.
If you haven't given your life to Jesus, you must do so before you engage in warfare prayers.
Do not be afraid. Summon courage and get up and pray in anger . Send these demons back to where they belong! You are a soldier! A soldier for Jesus Christ!

I will do, my brother. I will go and take him to a pastor close to where he lives so that he will be followed up closely. Sisters don't follow brothers up closely. Brothers to brothers, and sisters to sisters. To avoid stories that touch.
I am glad this thread is still waxing strong. Devil has no place here and those who come here to peek will be set free in Jesus name. Where is CharlyG1, Vooks and the rest who always contribute to make this thread awesome? It is still is but I would love to see more experiences, testimonies and the word of God shared daily. In my last post I mentioned I was going to take a stand and turn to God, it is solely because of this thread. The testimonies and experiences has lifted my faith and the word of God shared has been a food to my soul.
I mentioned I haven't been to church since last April, the only church I went on about 3 or 4 occasions was a Sabbath church, spiritual in its kind. For some reason I didn't feel among and stopped going. I have been keeping dreads since last year and decided to cut them last week. This past sunday I went to church in a very long time and it felt good. I prayed and meditated on the word and everything seem peaceful but I made a mistake. I smoked a joint or two after church and I wasn't happy. What really pained me most was the money I bought the marijuana was 2 times the money I gave in church. The next day I was arrested on my way to buy foodstuff to keep at home, the money was taken by the cops.
Now I had a dream which I would like some interpretation. I had various dream.
I had this confusing and vague dream minutes before I was arrested.
I couldn't pick a clear scene from this dream but I remember people being affected adversely by their actions. In the dream someone stakes their claim into owning a person, everyone around me was owned and I was not. I heard someone ask, why doesn't anyone own him or affect him, an aged lady replied because he is safe or too safe. I woke up. Got ready and in a few mins I was arrested by cops.
I was angry because I prayed after the dream and asked God to show me the meaning yet I was arrested, I felt down and had 2 sticks of cigarettes, before sleeping I prayed and read a few passages and then I slept off.
I had another dream. In my dream, I saw myself in our house (in Nigeria) and my father was heading out, as he was heading out I noticed a girl who was quite far off hiding as not to be seen by my dad, I knew she was my dad's girlfriend (in the dream) and the minute my dad was out of sight she came out with a friend of hers. Minutes later she came back in discomfort and was holding something back from me. I knew something was wrong and asked her several times but she didn't say, I was angry and held her down by her neck and was strangling her, she choked out some words that my dad was ill and have lost his memory. I got so mad that I started telling everyone in the house to move out (how the house became full of people is a surprise). I went to each room and chased everyone, came to my room and saw 2 girls dressing my bed, I told them out in a stern voice, pushed them and one started crying, she felt I was too harsh on her and I felt pity on her that comforted her that I was sorry if I was rude, but she has to leave because I am pained in spirit on hearing my dad is ill in hospital. I then saw a dirty looking guy sitting by the dining, I told him to get off the house, someone mentioned "don't I know him? He is the guy who killed crazy jones, for crazy jones has killed a lot of people". I just didn't care and told him to get off and take with him whatever belongs to him, I saw him picking some weird food from the dining, like meat and other things which aren't good to eat on a normal day. He limped off heading out. I came out and saw all of them (the ones I drove out) in a shallow water and I demanded where the keys to the house was, no one answered and so I storm into the water very angry to meet the 'supposed girlfriend' of my dad to get the keys, suddenly I found myself in another scene, it was a bit dark and I went from where I was sitting to pee. I saw 3 boys dressed like touts coming to the same place I was easing off. One wanted to stab another and I was alert and moved back some steps, they noticed me and wanted to attack me. I noticed someone picking my shoes where I was sitting, I felt it was the same limping guy I drove out of the house earlier. As I was being attacked I pulled out a knife from behind me and they were scared at first but they noticed I was only holding a short knife, not even kitchen knife. They shouted 'it's not a gun, bring out our gun'. They began shooting but I had a shield to protect myself. They chased me and suddenly I felt myself floating upwards but not far from their reach, they tried jumping to catch my leg and then I saw a rope, a thin one, and I held on to it and was climbing when I woke up. I prayed yet again and felt the need to read the book of 1 Samuel. I read from the first chapter to the 10th and I dozed off.
I had another dream (I didn't think it was a dream for I was not sleeping but somehow just resting with eyes closed and aware of where I was but couldn't pull out) where I saw a group of friends come visit another friend close to where I lived. I somehow knew I lived there even though it doesn't look like the place I currently live, we were together and was heading out, we sat in a golf car for it seem my friend just bought it, he started driving and then I realized there was no door or roof, it felt like I was on a moving cart. We stopped and I realized I wasn't having shoes, my legs were dirty from the mud I walked in, I went to see where we were and I saw a huge obituary poster of a woman. I came back and my friend offered me his shoes he was wearing and took another new one. I tried to clear my feet from the mud and wore the shoe he gave me, not exactly shoe but pam sleepers, black in color. I noticed I wasn't entirely pleased by his offer but had no choice since I couldn't walk on barefoot. I saw my church in Nigeria and walked in dancing and praising God but no one seem to notice me, I saw my brother but he didn't see me. I saw my step sister who I was surprised were 2 of her but had different hairstyle, one was happy and the other was sad.
Friends this is a confusing dream. I have asked God to show me the meaning but haven't gotten anything. Please I need help with interpretation of the dream. Is my dad really ill and lost his memory? I haven't spoken to him in about 2-3 months. What do walking barefoot mean? I am seriously worried and I think this is a battle because I am tracing my way back to God and I face temptations on the daily.

I opted in to look for a job waitinq for admsn and rewriting diz yr. One of d nights after, i dreamt some1 tellinq nt to go to a particular place i applied(computr biz), 2 days later i first felt reluctant befor i went. D day i went, d pesin workng dere who av bin absent for mnths came back dat same day. I had to leave and luck for a teaching job, after being employed i had to do a work in d cmpter place d guy told me i can cme cos d guy wrking is going to skul, i had to go back and leave d teaching... As of now am doinq very well dere, and he can leave for hours witout being afraid of losing customers. My issue here is that, i dont attend weekly activities again i usually feel tired after work to d extent i can't even have felowshp wit d holy spirit has at d time i received him newly; i feel i need to work and have money for my pume becos am buying upto 5 forms to secure more uportunty of admission. There is a way to balance your worklife and spiritual life. You can discuss this with your boss. Ask for his permission for you to close work quicker on somedays in the week for you to attend church week programs, even if it means a deduction in your salary. I believe he would allow you if you talk to him.
And don't bother yourself with all those toads and evil beings. They already have been defeated.
Always pray at night before you sleep and put away any form of ungodliness. You'll be fine.

Thanks a lot. I do know the open door in my life but I haven't been able to break away from the addiction. I've tried several times but I always find myself back there after a while
Ok. Think of it like a human sickness. When a person is sick, maybe he/she has malaria and is on a medication. The person needs to continually take drugs and injections to get well.
The same happens here too. When the mind is sick and demons have plagued it with all kinds of sexual images and thoughts, you will need continuous medication to keep you from going back to that sin. The Holy Spirit is your Doctor. You will need to know Him and depend on Him. The drugs is the 'Word of God'.
You need to keep reading the word of God, attend church activities regularly, always communicate with the Holy Spirit, Stay amongst friends, encourage yourslef that you can stop if you believe God can help you.
Lastly, you must have a very strong will to stop finally and not go back to it again. God is your strength. It could fade away gradually or at once. God will help you in Jesus Name. Amen

analice107: Brethren. I led an Herbalist to Christ today. Praise the Lord. I didn't even go to him with the intention of evangelizing him. I asked for a rag to clean my shoes, he gave me a rag, as I was cleaning my shoes, he asked me why I was in that area, I told him, he said he could assist me with info. (His words) "But I be Herbalist o". I said really? He said yes. He doesn't look it, but I saw stuff around which indicated he wasn't lying. I then asked him what herbalists actually do. He thought he had seen a client. He gladly was telling me his art. I said OK, do you also cure demo possessed people? He said, "ah ah, dat one na small thing nah", just bring the person, and now now, I go destroy the demon. I said OK, how do you destroy this demons since they are spirit beings? He said by consulting with his Spirits. They will tell him what to do, and now now, he will destroy them. I said, do you know that demons have names? I asked him if he knew the name of the demons who sexually molest people in their sleep? He said he didn't k of their names. I started by telling him some names of demons based on what I learned here. I asked him if he inherited the herbalistic tendencies or he acquired them by himself? He said he inherited them.
I asked him if he knew who Christ is? He said Yes, am a Christian, I go to redeem church. Do you have a bible? He said yes, Do you read the Bible? He said yes. He said, there are psalms I will give you now, if you fast with them, whatever you ask, you shall receive. I said OK. At that point I brought out my Bible I said show me the psalms, he couldn't I played cool. I made him feel comfortable in his job. When he told me that, he expected me to leave immediately, but instead, I sat down in the sun for 2hrs talking to him. Base on the info I gathered from this thread, I was so bold to talk to this man. He confessed that, no one, male or female has ever had the kind of courage I had to look him in the eyes and tell him, he is worshipping Satan. He said, when he told me he was an Herbalist, he expected me to turn and leave like others. He said everyone who hears he is a Herbalist turns and leaves, but I stayed and shared the word with him. He was so grateful that I didn't treat him the way others had always done. I told him I was not there on my own, I am an ambassador representing Christ, so I carry the totality of Christ in me. He asked why I didn't leave, I told him I loved him and won't want him to go to hellfire. He was looking at me like I was some strange lady. After I opened the Bible to show him what it meant to be what he was, and what the people in the Bible did after they met Christ, after that, he accepted to give his life to christ. I asked him if he will willingly burn up his herbalistic items, he said yes. Well, I didn't stay to see him do that, I had to leave. I took him through the Sinners prayer, and prayed for him afterwards. I leave far away from that area so following him up personally Will be a challenge for me. I directed him to a church close by, but he told me he has an Aunt who is afraid of coming close to him because of who he is, (he said, if you just mention my name, my sister will tell you to go far from me, because am a herbalist), but that she worships with Winners Chapel , and base on what he has seen from her, he will want to follow her to Winners Chapel. I said OK, I took the lady's number, to call and make sure she tries to follow him up. I will too. Praise God.

1. THE BATTLE FOR HIM (AND YOU TOO) JUST STARTED. 2. He needs all the love and follow up he can get. At this point i think it will be a good idea if you can introduce him to your evangelism group head in church to take over the follow up. HE MUST NOT BE LEFT ALONE. Remeber when apostle paul; said, he planted, apollo watered, God giveth the increase? i think it applies in this case too. someone else has to continue from where you stopped. this is becos, he would need people to check up on him at home, late hours e.t.c ...and we both know it's not advisable for a sister to do all that.
3. More than anything...HE NEEDS TO UNDERGO DELIVERANCE. AS IN...LIKE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
4. I believe it would be best for you to buy him christain materials, (books if he can read) or audio messages to build his faith.
5. Prayers should be said for him daily. I propose that maybe on friday, all of us participating in this group should do an hour of intercession for both analice and the new convert. this is very important.
6. He should be made aware of certain hardships that will come ssonest to befall him. this is termed a reaping process. depending on how far he went, there are certain things that he must pay for. this is because God is a fair God. But in his trials, he would grow tremendously. Most convert from the occult esp think that we christains lied when we said God will help them (because of the hardship)

Oh my God thank you so much my brother. I got the courage from you guys. I mean it, that man yesterday asked 4times (who are you?). He said "No one stands here a second immediately they know Aa a native doctor, you din't only stood, you sat down in the open sun, sharing the word with me, telling me things about myself, no one has ever done this". Who are you and where are from? He kept asking. At a point, I felt sorry for him, that people were not caring if that man went to hellfire or not. I have heard you, and I will do what I can. FORGIVENESS: FORGIVING THE FATHER'S WAY. What is Forgiveness? It is the act of 'liberating', or setting someone free from whatever offence he/she may have committed against you. The Lord Jesus said, it is impossible but that offenses must come. So, as long as we live in this world, we must be offended or offend someone knowingly or unknowingly. There are 4 ways offences may come. 1. Offence occurs, The offenders knows he has offended you, he asks for forgiveness, you forgive. 2. Offence occur, the offender is oblivious, you let him know, he is sorry, you forgive, and asks for forgiveness and you forgive. 3. Offence occurs, the offender oblivious, you let him know, but instead of 'am sorry', you are further humiliated. 4. Offence occurs, the offender is quite aware, but refuses to accept your plea, even though you are the one whom he offended. In the case of 3&4, how do we handle such cases knowing forgiveness is a two way transaction, and can't be done by one party? So, what do you do? (Note; you can't go around carrying grudges and malice, if you want God to hear your prayers, ) So, what do we do? This is the point where you do what Jesus will do. Call someone whom that individual respects and let him know, or talk to your pastor about it, if after every thing, he remains adamant, hand him over to God, and 'let it go', but watch your heart for hurt and grudges.
We know that every offence calls for repentance, repentance calls for forgiveness, forgiveness calls for reconciliation. Do you best to see that this process is followed.
There are two other ways we should exercise forgiveness.
1 . PERSONAL OFFENCES. you need to forgive yourself, when you offend yourself and God through sin. You deal with the offence by asking him to forgive you 1jn 1:8-9 (For if we say we have no sin, we decieve ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgives us our sins and to cleans us from all unrighteousness). Sin is viewed as an offence against God. Jesus described human sin as a debt against God. "what is legally owed", and must be paid. So confess it, and repent from it.
OFFENSES OF OTHERS. under this, there are direct and indirect offenses. Direct offense is when you offend me, indirect is when you offend my brother Oyeludef or brother Charles. You have indirectly offended me, and I can take up that caseuy. In this case you owe me no debt. In this case too, we need to forgive. When someone offends you, I don't mean "(he stepped on me and refuse to say sorry) kind of offence. I mean really destructive, and with malicious intent to cause you harm. Pleas don't curse it. Don't beat yourself as to why you are the one chosen to suffer such fate. Most time what is intended for evil turns out for good. Without offences, (attacks from the enemy) how can you pray more? How can you learn to be careful in your relationships if a friend had not betrayed you before? Imagine what became of Joseph because of offenses.
Don't let self pity get hold of you when you offend or someone offends you. Forgive others and yourself and keep moving. Isa 26:3, Phil 3:13. When offence is forgiven, leave it alone. Don't dwell on it. Forget what has gone by, and reach out to things which are ahead. When your mind is always focused on what was done against you, there will be an inner turmoil and torment in you. God promised perfect peace if our hearts are fixed on Him.
Stop talking about what was done against you, it keeps the hurt alive, Satan likes it that way. When God forgives, he forgets the hurt, so why remember what God has forgotten? Rehearsing offenses results in mentally and emotionally dwelling in yesterday, and you will never have a future as long as you are living in the past. Make a covenant with your heart each day that you choose to forgive as an act of your 'will', when you chose to forgive before the offence is committed, you disarm it's power over you.
Remember, forgiveness is not justifying someone's wrong with an excuse. It is not denying you weren't hurt, or accepting with resignation, what was done against you. No, that will be cowardice. You were hurt, it is very painful, I know, but u chose to forgive. This how it works.
True forgiveness does not come by waiting for time to heal the hurt. True forgiveness comes, by recognising the wrong done to you, you, confessing the the hurt to God, and RELEASEING THE OFFENDER FROM YOUR HEART, by releasing the negative emotions associated with the offenses. The process is like peeling the outer layer of an Onion, and when this is done, you position yourself for God to work supernaturally in your life and in the life of your offender. It clears the refuse of bitterness from your spirit and prepare the way for the anioting to flow into you. If you cut the root of evil (bitterness & unforgiveness) you will kill it's fruit TEMPTATION AND EVIL. Recieve Grace to forgive, in Jesus Name. Praise the Lord.
