I guess you studied Economics?

Economics? Haba! Nope.

I wonder why you thought about Economics among the many disciplines out there. I did not study Economics.

If you don't mind, what course did you study?
Which country did you choose for PhD in your application?

Oh umm okay.

I studied Risk Engineering: Safety Engineering and Management (RE-SEAM). Though in France and fully sponsored by Total in Nigeria, it was 100 per cent in English. With lecturers coming from the U.K, U.S. and France.

For my PHd. I am looking at environmental risk engineering (environmental management/sciences). Note I studied environmental management for my BSc in Uniport. Also environmental risk was a core module for my Msc. in France. So I am trying to marry my first and second degree in my PHd.

For the BEA I choose MEXICO and Netherlands. My choices are based on my personal opinions. I do not want South Korea, Japan, China, Russia (Cyrillic) etc where I will learn new alphabets. While others people/scholars will say it is challenging and they like challenges bla bla bla. I am not up for all that. I chose countries that use our alphabet system like we use in English. Being in France also made me learn Basic French which is a close friend to all latin based languages like Spanish. So for me I am calling the shots based on ME.

Thanks for your response. But, I don't think Netherlands is among the BEA countries. Although, I know Netherlands has her own fellowship programme called Nuffic

ha ha ha....yeah I know. Wetin concern me. Dem list countries come put ''etc''. and I could not get the full list and which countries make up the ''etc.'' I just applied choosing mexico as first choice which is on their list and offers courses in environmental management/sciences. Personally, I prefer Mexico. The second choice I decided to gamble with and chose Netherlands. THAT WAS WHY I SAID MY CHOICES ARE BASED ON ''ME''.

As long as it will boil down to a competitive exam/interview devoid of nepotism and preferential treatment, then all I pray for is to be shortlisted.
So for me, if it comes, fine. If it doesn't fine too. I need rest sef after all this wahala for France. But I will definitely get my PHd. whether self sponsored or via a scholarship. I love academics and intend to go into full time lecturing/teaching/researching latter in life.

You can only change it if your application is on the save mode but if you clicked submit and have printed out, nothing can be done with respect to the application and double application will automatically disqualify you, exercise patience, during the screening/interview stage, they may entertain your explanation and you may correct it.

I hope we were able to sort out the application issues. To those that have completed their own,was there any notification? So it can serve as a guide to others. The applilication time frame is short. I wish you all success. Cheers

Has anyone been able to acquire the NPC birth certificate recently?
I applied for it, and was asked to comeback in two weeks...
It's the only document preventing me from submitting my application, and I'm really concerned....
Should I upload by my normal birth certificate or age deceleration and submit the application, I can present the NPC birth certificate at the interview center...
Or should I just wait patiently and upload the NPC cert in two weeks time?
Your thoughts please.....

Pick up A4 paper and sign your signature on it then scan it and upload it,that's the simplest way of Doing it or if you have an electronic biro that comes with human signature recognition gadget(Banks use it for BVN registration),sign on the surface and upload your signature.
