I know Buhari is not that daft to probe them....
There are a thousand ways to kill a cat. He surely wouldn't directly probe them but he could use other instruments of state to intimidate them, look into their previous dossiers, investigate their relatives, shut down companies related to them........even if it's against the rule of law. We're talking of a President who has already rubbished rule of law by flagrant disregard for court judgements

APC is a party that cannot accept defeat, it is bad for the sustenance of democracy. Intimidating Supreme Court judges by hiding under the pretense of probing is not right

They cannot intimidate these Justices. They are simply blowing hot air.

Probing a seating Supreme Court Justice (or in this case, all of the Justices) is a mistake PMB will never attempt. He will simply alienate the Judiciary in his government. All these threats are from idiotic illiterates giving mics to spell out their stupidity in a copious fashion.

Something as easy as implementing a law to allow for card readers to complement the voters register if possible in the electoral act would have made APC win the case. Our lawmakers are just bent on collecting wardrobe allowances

You are speaking sense!

Then he will be making a wrong precedent. The only thing going for PMB right now is the anti-corruption fight. Every other thing including the economy is in shatters. If he does that to the Supreme Court Justices, he has sealed his own fate since the anti-corruption fight will be made useless. Court dates will be scheduled farther off, bail amounts will be lower, antics will be employed like judges refusing to handle a case.

PMB is not the only person with a weapon here, the Justices too have a weapon. And let PMB not forget, he would leave the seat at a point, he could be made a scapegoat by the many enemies he is making, and the Judiciary would seat idly by.

The Judiciary is unlike the other two arms that are made of elected officials. Those in the Judiciary have been there for decades. They eat, live the Judiciary. Disrespecting the highest court in the land will attract more scorn than PMB can handle. All these little errors he is making will attract penalties. Lawyers will spring left and right charging the government to court for flagrant abuses of power like the budget scandal etc. And the judges will make mincemeat out of his government.

Let PMB start the war with the Judiciary and see if he or his party will come out unscathed.

Yes, they shot themselves in the foot in Lagos not envisaging its ripple effect on subsequent judgements. APC always wants to eat their cake and still have it.

The question is, how do you probe the law? In my primary school days, my Government teacher used to say, "once you take a case to to the Supreme Court and it goes against you, the next person/being to appeal to is God". Case closed.

Ur right. The anti-corruption cases may eventually end up at the Supreme Court and the same justices would just smile and do the needful. In four years, we may not have any convict for corruption, except those who do plea bargain.

Some of u guys making a hell lot of noice no nothing or little abt nigeria. Its important u read d content b4 making ur remarks. Don't just sit at d comfort of ur androids and begin to rain insults of all kinds. The questions, we really need to ask is do we really need change? In ghana if many of us follow thr news recently abt 25 judges wia shown the way out cos of wrongful dispensation of justice by virtue of thr mischiefs judgement. Neither ur comments nor mine is advocate of justice. But is important we look outside the box n say things that will be bring our justice system to a greater extent. 2 lower courts pass similar judgement, just cos SC supercede these courts doesn't mean thr cases shld be swept cos of grieviences quote n un quote. God help Nigeria...if we got it wrong using PMB as an object n subject of change then I'm sorry for the state our children wil inherit from us...don't share my sentiment.
