Unfortunately, they won't patronize the goods. One of the reasons why China has gone far is they wont use any other product except theirs.

Actually they are no more industrious than those from the West or the North!?
If you want to differ, do it with sense and construct a good sense with appropriate tenses and use of punctuations. Otherwise, construct it in ur native language, its allowed.

We are capable of manufacturing wonders in Nigeria and save a lot from importation of some products but we Nigerians are enemies of ourselves. One truth is that when we go to the market and see a two substitute products with one made is a foreign country and the other in Nigeria, we will always want to go for the foreign one, so how do we develop our made-in-Nigeria products. I really expect the government to invest a lot in this Aba guys, i have seen first hand for these people are capable of, call it fake or whatever but you can't take brilliance away from their work.

If you want to differ, do it with sense.
And if you wanna hate, do it with dignity. A westerner cum northerner is commending the Easterns and you just keep on hating till thy kingdom come.

To be honest and fair, our brothers from the east are highly industrious. All that's lacking is the extra support from govt. Incentives should be given to them, friendly loans should also be granted unto them. I hope we get our acts right very soon
our brothers from the west, thank q for the recommendation..cheesy

If you are landless and you come from a rough terrain you have no choice but to work hard and thrive otherwise na Lagoon. I think favourable environment , land wealth and centralised culture made others lazy. And of course the others didn't have to survive on 20pounds after near a fatal error by Sir Wuruwuru ike-eba.

You are missing the point again

It is not a big deal. Every region has its specialisation. It is how economics work, it does not make one area of specialization superior to the othersmiley.

This is exactly what we need in this country

I fully support home grown products with major local content

These are the real Igbos with lion heart and thank God the current government is ready to support them

Nigerians should support them too

Honestly, these creative ones carry Biafra for head.
Go to Samek or Bakassi shoe line and shout one Nigeria, they will use you skin to do leather for their shoe.

Ask anybody in Aba, that you see Biafra protesters confront Army, it is guys from Ariaria, power line side, shoe makers, they don't fear anybody.

Aba people are great, they do wonders there in terms of fabrication of anything, that is how China and Taiwan started and with their strong government backing, all of us have seen where China and Taiwan is now, in Nigeria we keep on fighting each other and pulling one another down and the country continue to be in mess!
