Good development from Lagos state government.

Christians should understand that THEIR RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF WORSHIP DO NOT GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO UNDERMINE THE RIGHT OF OTHERS.

No sane person would love to be disturbed with NOISE all in the name of church while trying to retire to bed.

With the way gullible Christians shouts while talking to Sky-dady MAKES one wonder if their skydady is somehow DEEF AND DUMB.

THE PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT CHRISTIANITY TO MY GULLIBLE NIGERIANS DO NOT MAKE THE KIND OF NOISE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE BUSY MAKING.

Gud reasoning. I never thought in that line. Secular noise-making musicians and mobile advertisers don't get arrested. The gate of hell shall not prevail against his church. Landlord doesn't want the Church noise but he is ok with their money.

I'm a Christian and would gladly support any law that prohibits "public disturbance"...but it should spread across all religions and sectors. If you are to punish the people who disturb in the church,
1.you should also punish the imams who disturbed our sleep in the morning.
2. You should also punish the beer parlor joints that blast noise called songs into our ear drums up till 2:00AM in the morning
3. Companies that in the name of marketing, blast songs and what have you disturbing public peace.

When this is done, I'll gladly tell my pastor to reduce the volume of his microphone and put our church speakers inside the church

The worst part of it that they keep their speakers round their fences and scream from inside and sometimes when u pass, u see just 3 or 4 people inside playing band and shouting like mad people. Its really annoying

Hmmm interesting, I'm also a christian but its best Lagos State government enforces a law to disallow churches from mounting their SPEAKERs outside.

To preach the gospel is one thing and noise pollution is another thing. Seriously all worship centers in the state should either relocate from residential areas or they restrict the noise to the church environment alone.

Good one. Nigeria doesn't need loud churches, more churches or mosques or pastors and imams. I once drove down 2nd avenue in Festac and counted 11 different churches on it. But why? How can anyone sleep peaceably?

The fruit of of holy spirit as found in the Bible (Galatians 5:22,23) does not include shouting. It includes love, peace, mildness, etc. - qualities that endears rather than disturbs.
Noise is irritating and disturbing. People deceive others by claiming it's Holy spirit. We need to remember Jesus' words that sin against the holy spirit will not be forgiven

There is a church in almost everyone's backyard, but there seems to be one Christian God. Why pluralized an assemblage of saints if the worship is directed at one unseen entity ? I think religion is completely residual in the minds of the fools.
