Nigerians can be so hypocritical sha.....while reading the post without seeing the pix I was actualy thinking the lady was placed in the trunk of a car....please what are u saying, there is every possibility the lady was an hitch-hiker, and yoruba would say ore ni won. Avnt u heard of an hitch-hiker turn to car hijacker? Or where a prostitute will suddenly turn on u and claim that u slept with her without paying, someone u assisted with a ride. Abeg make we dey think weLla before we say things. She is lucky she was picked, what if dey dint pick her, or do u wanna say hundreds of vehicles haven't passed her without halting. Abeg I see nothing wrong in this please.

When I was young I preffered sitting behind my Dad's Peugeot 404 pick up van like this and my mates used to admire me.I felt like MOPOL.I once fell off another pick up like that too.I would jump on a slow moving pickup and jump off before the driver accelerates until the day the tail board gave way and I fell off and found myself in the hospital.We did that out of excitement.Even my kids once begged me to sit behind a hilux like this and I obliged them but remembering the fall I had many years back I allowed an adult to be with them.All said and done,then I was excited and a boy,adventure was written all over my face but this one is a girl,she looks sober and resigned to fate.I only 'wish' she sat there voluntarily because it's actually a pathetic and slavish sight.Although from the story she was forced to sit there by an arrogant Oga who may even be banging her when people are out of sight.Really pathetic.

I love Nigerians sha, they can drink panadol for another man pain one hand, without asking or knowing if the pain is headache or malaria or zika virus sickness...I beg park well make I pass.

In the first instance it is wrong to put passenger on the trunk/bucket of a truck, as it is meant only load. The VIO don't even know these things hence they ought to arrest the driver. In the invent of an accident such passenger are always the first victims.

Well...until we stop the vehicle and inquire from the girl on the reason behind her stay at d back, we cannot assume she is being maltreated.. There are always 2 sides to a coin.

While working for a multi-national in the northern part of Nigeria, my driver was on leave and a guy (a northerner) was brought in to release my driver.
We set out on our journey. Had a stop over in Akwanga to eat at a restaurant. I was served and he too his own too, only for him to head outside with his food.
I called him back to come eat at the table. He refused; saying he cannot eat on the same table with his boss. I was shocked.
When I insisted, he said he would prefer not to eat if I insist.
I have to allow him go eat in the car.
