F*cuk the GOVERNMENT! The truth MUST be told!

We are NOT Mugu that will forever keep quite, we are getting informed of the criminal act you do with your offices day by day!

If you take her Job from your sector which is not even permanent for you, you can't take her life!

A better employment offers will find her!

We will always call a Spade a Spade!

Someday, our collective words/protests will spark the brain that will change this great Nigeria for good!

The only reason I see for her sack stated on that letter was that her services were no longer needed.
can she prove she lost her job because of her Facebook post, otherwise she has no concrete evidence

Civil service in Nigeria is populated with corrupt, insensitive and vindictive people. Many are educationally 1/2 baked and lack innovation and creativity. This, though, is also because of the archaic bureaucratic system they operate in.

Most people here are being brainwashed by British leftist PC brigade.
They forget reality takes precedence over morality in an ego laden work environment like Nigeria.
Funny enough it is still politicised

I don't want to believe she was sacked cos of this. Didn't see anything bad enough to warrant such, so speaking up abt poor sensitization of the populace on lassa fever is now a crime?

Thank God she is a lawyer. She would have read the terms of her employment and very well knows if she can sue the ministry or not.

Also, we are probably witnessing the birth of another activist.

She could have written to the government or used an alter ego to channel her concerns. She was naive and paid for it with her job.

There is freedom of speech every where but freedom after speech cannot be guaranteed, she is very stupid knowing very well the kind of society we live in,this is not America it's just an ugly fact,i have a friend who worked for etisalat and the day they discovered she has an extra mtn Sim her appointment was terminated, sadly they will not state why they sacked you they simply tell you your services are no longer required so it will be hard for you even in court, dont just run your mouth on social media thinking it's a faceless medium, at list to protect your job, even FBI spy on their citizens on social media if you talk anyhow especially on national security they will frame you up and pick you up.people should be careful on social media
.i condemn the state govt though but I think she is not smart

I'll advice you to involve NLC on this issue. That's their duty except that most of them are so corrupt. Lastly talk to your maker.

I take it you just intend being mischievous.
There are better ways to call out for help, which she hasn't done.
You can start an online petition for her sake. You have a senator whom you can lobby to lobby her senator if you really want to help her, but if that woman needs help, she needs to ask appropriately.

Pls what are the better ways? Can you outline some of them? Can you start on some of them because we still have the lassa fever epidemic. And I hope you are advocating for us to seat down and look.

My dear, I dont know how old you are or if you have worked for a government of multi national company. The bosses hate public critique. Except you belong to a union that has hold on the organisation you work for, forget forming activist.
That lady was naive, Has she never heard of animosity, I maintain she should have used an alter ego to channel her concerns.
Taking her case to Facebook wont help her either, she has a senator she can petition, we have civil liberty organisations that can help her. While looking for fame, remember its a package deal.
