@jugreency..thanks and @Anton the next intake for KIT is september .admission starts from June.
To further butress my points.immediately after the 2 semesters or 4 semesters languagr preparatory course (depends on how fast you catch up) you will be required to take the school exam and TOPIK.some schools will request for your TOPIK score sheet incase you intend transfering to their schools for the main course(after language in another school) The TOPIk is similar to TOEFL and TORFL (test of english as a foreign language and test of russia as a foreign language respectively) this measure you ability of spoken and written korean language for learning in class.
Therefore if a student fails this TOPIK stages of exam..bro you will have to retake your language course again maybe for an extra semester or two depending on poor the grades are, before you canretake the TOPIk and start either your undergraduate or masters degree.

That amount will be enough for your study, but it wont be enough for embassy to give you visa bec u are also going to pay school fees out of it before you take your statement to embassy. Secondly, them giving you vusa is a 50 50 chance bec they have their language school at abuja now. So do your research and plan your way forward. One love
thank you for ur quick response, can u estimate d cost of travelling and studying in south korea

Actually no country issues work permit for students..like acadollar who reside there has stated.working as a student is illegal but no penalty for that.It will even be very difficult to work and study during your language classes.most languages classes are for 4hrs daily from mondays to thursday..except if the school will work on your Study plan, which is very rare.but most times if you are about 5 to 6 persons ypu can decide how you want the classes to be run and choose your time (Russia as an example) reason is that the language sections is not dependant on the school itself (very very independent) I will suggest that those who are actually willing to work should take their time to complete the language course work and take the TOPIK exam, which qualifies you for use in getting a good job even if you decide to defer your main course to a later date.
I have not been there but I believe language school system is thesame everwyhere.

Presently in Nigeria
I want to study the language and start another masters degree or Phd for the fact that one can easily get a job there unlike in Russia.

@jugreency it can be easy bro...ensure you have your translator machine or dictionary app ..stay within the school to study for like 2months by the 3rd month move out with friends start practicing all you av beentaught...even if the locals laugh at your pronounciation never mind.then proceed to register with a social network (not english o) make friends and chat in d foreign language ..learn like 100 verbs in the first 2 months cos u need these verbs more...in your 4th month as a serious student..u will start communicating ..if you arr the type that clubs more or like partying..you will speak , listen well but cant write ..but most will be jargons (street language)

Shey person fit hold another change apart from BTA and will GTB MasterCard work there.?

Cards work here but you're not permitted to work till after being here for 6 months.

Other than that now, its either deportation or fine as a warning will be imposed based on your luck.

hmmm you are right bro but am scared because they have language center in abuja besides how much is the language tuition fee?

You dnt have to be scared but the fact is that you have to prove to the VO why you will do your language course here in Korea and not in Nigeria, because they will even tell you probably at interview or so that there is a language centre in Abj, that you should use it.

But I've seen people get it, even a nairalander here got it lastwk and haven't said it here while I've seen some rejected because of probably not convincing

Pls let me just chip this in..language school in abuja deals with general korean language for communication not for course foundation.I have called then and asked questions.the course is for four months and its free.
I had my msc in russia and studied all thru in russian language.
The korean lnaguage course will be different for studu purpose.this means if u r going for engineering, you will be taken thru the basics like mathematics, physics and korean language..and for medicine..biology will be inclusive .this is just for you to understand the terms in korean languave and have basic foundation for easy communication .
Therefore with my previous experience and phone calls i have made to the korean center in abuja.applyin to study korean language in korea does not deny you visa.infact that is more recognised than going there to study in english language..this is the reason scholarship is available and for thos willing to apply for scholarship.please it is late for graduate studies but gor undergraduate studies ensure you call or visit the korean center latest by may/june as that application is yet to start.
Enough of rumours lets work with facts

I understand your point but the truth still remains that if you are coming here for Masters degree, you have good chances too and for those that has aged probably 30 and above, I know most schools here dont even accept language students at that age anymore, and the likes accept someone from 24 years and below and more of the people getting language visa has been on that age range.
Above 30 is the worst.

My observations from this last semester after visiting many schools looking for admission and answers.

I still encourage anyone to try his so others can get heads up

Yes but you have to visit immigration office to get additional work permit after probably your ist 6 months of arrival and you're expected to have food grades.

Any thing other than that, you might be caught, Is two way things, deportation or fine for warning depend on luck.

As for language course students with D4 visa type, they usually get deported so kindly respect your visas and thread carefully.

i guess it will be better for us if we ask the school we are about applying for to confirm the age restriction things or is it the embassy that is taking the decisions regarding the age restriction things?

Just study in details about the conference and relaxe your mind, dont bother about series of ugly stories you heard about immigration just be optimistic.

Good Luck

local guarantor should be the one that sponsor your visa...in your case you dont need a local guarantor rather contact the conference organiser about your arrival. They should be one to answer any question if they wish to call.
