Why won't they verify ? This is Canada we're talking about. Even a third-world country would verify your admission letter. Some schools send a copy to the Embassy email address when e-mailing you your admission letter (European countries do this). It's more like an Internal process and not something they'll write in BOLD but they do.

It's quite absurd for one to think that they won't confirm the admission of course but do you think it might be as detailed as asking about the student's deposit if it was paid by school's deadline, how much has been paid, etc?

Hi All, a quick one please to Ontario college applicants. I'm planning on making an application to 5 Ontario colleges (with one application fee one can select max of 5 institutions) for Project Management (Graduate certificate). Do I need a transcript assessment to complete this application.

Please I need your input. I think it will be expensive to send the transcript to 5 different schools from Nigeria.

No, you dont, each colleges have peculiar requirements, some of the easier ones are fanshawe, northern, Sheridan. I used ontario colleges and Im presently having 4 LOAs. I have applied for my permit and did my biometric today with upfront medicals

Try sending him a reminder, asking if he/she git your precious mail, it's likely he/she is on vacation or not around, so don't waste time waiting for him/her, You can also contact others in d same department with similar field of research or check other departments.

Aww that's great. I know right, back then I used to be very passive, going to Canny seemed like a tall dream, but we'd get there, amen.

Hope your exams went well.

How much of Halifax do you know?

Of course, Canada is a dream country, and you shall get here too soon, by God's grace. My exams went quite alright, though exhausting. I do not know a whole lot about Halifax, but I go there every now and then. I know a couple people going to Dalhousie, and Halifax is a great and very lively city. You would not regret it if that's your destination. On some weekends, my friends and I drive down there to club and stuff. grin

Hello,
Yes you will quote the uci number. Also give details of the last denial. You will be fine provided you have addressed the reasons for previous denial.
All the best.

An admission letter can be one of two types: a conditional and an unconditional letter. In both cases, the CIC will reach out to your school for verification. If it's conditional, they'll ask if the student has fulfilled the conditions. These things work internally. One of the reasons why there is an International Student Office. They call, the office keys in your details and checks for your eligibility criteria. If they are fulfilled and matches, then things are good. Otherwise, doubts arises. etc

Morning Everyone,

Please who has done medicals in IOM Migration Health Assessment Center Abuja, I am considering using them for upfront medicals since they are cheaper than Abuja Clinics. 33k compared to 48k. Kindly respond.

Hi guys, goodmorning all. Seems i'm late! I want to further my education next year in Canada, ontario precisely. I'd be going for a Pgd in business administration, I was told I have to start the process latest by September this year, because i'm looking at February/march 2017. I also read where they said students are allowed to work inside the campus for 6months before allowed to work outside. I have some questions:
1) are Pgd students allowed to work as well
2) what's the total package for everything, which includes tuition, accommodation, ticket and visa, feeding
3) which university in ontario is very affordable, not the very expensive ones since i'm doing Pgd before thinking of doing masters.

I'd be glad if my questions are answered thanks.

If you can you should try Vancover Island University for PGD
