Attempts by the the APC leadership to use their twitter "cashtivists" to decrease the twitter followership of Senator Bukola Saraki seems to have backfired. The Unfollow saraki hashtag which was lunched after series of other hash tags failed was aimed as skewing public opinion against the President of the Senate. In a twist of fate the Senate Presidents Followership on the social media platform increased by 2000 in less than 24hrs after the not our senate President and Unfollow Saraki campaigns. The senate President is currently standing trail at the code of conduct tribunal for improper declaration of assets a case he and his supporters claimed are politically motivated. President Mohammdu Buhari himself is believed to have failed declare his Asokoro residence in 2003, while Bola Tinubu the National leader of the APC also ran fowl of many provisions of CCB Act and was let off the hook by the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal. Most political observers have traced Saraki's travails to his refusal to bow to the wishes of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and by extension the APC leadership who are now ready to forfeit the senate leadership to the opposition PDP to teach Saraki a lesson. Whether Saraki survives this onslaught or not the drama and the ensuing political tsunami will be interesting to watch . www.twitter.com/BukolaSaraki 1 Like

learned fellows know its political witch-hunt........moreover, learned fellows like the disparity between the executive and legislative, that way... less looting and more push to win the masses.. truth be told, if not for this disparity... a lot wont come to light. |

When Saraki decamped from PDP, he was a progressive. When Saraki was pulling all his resource campaigning for PMB, he was a progressive. But, when Saraki outsmarted Tinubu's boys 2 become the SP he turned to a thief automatically. APC, abeg we love Saraki as our Senate President EOD 3 Likes |

It is better for us to pitch our tent with the SP for now, so as to make the office of the Senate Presidency an independent chair, rather than it becoming an extension of the Executive. Buhari might be a saint, but after him, whoever comes next, can not be trusted with so much authority and influence. I RATHER DOCK WITH SARAKI 6 Likes 1 Share |

BeeBeeOoh: He was dunce and mumu. The doesn't know how to play clever politics like dogara. Dogara played clearly, refused to step down for his opponents and still allow free election to be done. He should have played saver because his hands are not clean. He taught it is gragra to outsmart. If he is thrown out now, which is likely, they will make sure he is ruined politically and pdp self, will reject him. When he was calling professor of law,and a vice president, mere commissioner, he never think of his future, went ahead and recoup, then he thought he was smart. Kwara politics is different from national because you never know what can befall you. Now he can't go back to mere commissioner now to pally with him. Who won now? 1 Like |
