The young man pictured above met his waterloo as he tried to steal a phone by passing his hand through someone's window in Sapele, Delta state. The owner of the house on sighting the man’s hand fiddling for the phone, quickly went for a cutlass and cut of the man’s hand. Mr. Burglar ran away into the night crying with his amputated hand. Many people in Nigeria are actually suffering from one form of mental illness. I'm not even saying this to insult Nigerians.
For that man to cut the boy's hand off completely with just one clean stroke shows that his intention was to cut the hand off, he deliberately used enough force to make sure he severed the hand and it also shows that he saw the hand before cutting it off and took note how it was positioned so he could get a clean strike.
Now if he saw the hand that implies he knew the hand belonged to a young child so why did he still deliberately try to chop it off even with that knowledge?
Many Nigerians have lost their humanity, its terrible the way suffering and strife makes them behave like animals. I am even sure people who heard the news in the boys area laughed and made jokes of the situation like it was nothing.

The most dangerous combination is mixing mental illness with religion! Nigeria and Nigerians are currently swimming in this dangerous mix. I'm even shocked that no national emergency has been declared in regards to this. Back then, I deliberately sit in a public place where to have a good view of people and look into their eyes and most times, I see beasts!

This is a shallow response from you. I remember thieves coming to our house, stole phones, laptops(one of the laptop bags contained someone's life documents), cash and ready to even go away with our flat screen TV. What the boy was trying to do is bad but I still pity him

Reminds me of an experience I had when I went to greet my sis in school, we slept off without closing the window, we woke up to a guy trying to get in after cutting the thin sheet covering the window. I was still asking jamb question asking who he was before we ran outside screaming notifying our neighbours, they came to check and the guy was still hiding at the back of the window probably waiting till they left. Thank God they combed everywhere, he was lucky to escape sha. I only saw he had a black glove on, later noticed he managed to take my purse that was on the cupboard near the window. After then I look at any guy I see in that area with suspicion.
