I just heard something "not funny". Please can any couple who got married in Living Faith Church aka Winners' Chapel confirm if its true that they conduct pregnancy test 3 days before the wedding; Wednesday preceding the Saturday?

YES....the pastor or a ordained worker will go with the couple to the hospital and be there when the result will be giving and if it turns positive no ordained pastor from winners will wed them. Even if they have printed and shared invitation card.

Based on what I witness.

invasion of privacy....and am yet to find a place in the bible that recommends church marriage.

Intending Couples are not supposed to be having intercourse prior to their wedding, it's unbiblical, so there's nothing unfair if winners stand by the Biblical code for marriage. You may do traditional wedding if the bride is pregnant already

Baptist test the bride a day before and you have to show your wedding gown for verification weeks before.

Really? I have all rights to bleep my lady as long as I have paid the dowry and done the traditional rites. I have no business with church marriage. If the pastor wants to witness it he's invited.

The church didnt force or insist you marry in their auditorium. If you want to wed in Winners then play by the rules. If you want to have a traditional marriage, you play by the rules of your prospective inlaws tradition otherwise no wedding. So whats the big deal?

You dont like, go elsewhere...winners isnt going to be upset for upholding their rules.

The guilt? Its not guilt but hypocrisy. You claim to be a follower of Christ, you fornicate with a woman you are not yet married to, you got her pregnant, you want to force the church to ignore that part of your Christian life and wed you? Like I said, the church is not doing it for God(because God will judge such people in his time) they are doing it to protect their public image. Because I know that many people will laugh at them if they ignore this part and wed couples only to get full term birth 3 months after the wedding. What kind of Christians are out there these days? Its a damn shame when a man who claims to be a Christian proudly says......what's the big deal if I get my babe pregnant before wedding her?
