I don't think God will appear, though he can help out like he did in season 5 (bringing Cass back to life and putting Sam and dean in that plane after lucifer got out of the cage

Once you embrace the blade and the mark , The blade can't be displaced via telekinesis from the wielder, and He/she becomes immune like you may have seen in Dean's case against Abaddon` Rowena etc .. He even controlled the blade telekinetically himself.

But dean wasnt wielding the blade at a particular moment at that scene, when abaddon telekinetically pinned him down the blade fell, she could hv telekinetically moved it far away from him or are u saying in that particualar instance she was doomed anyhow.

Errm. What was disappointing there?? The blade + the mark was/is a very powerful weapon. That's why Abbadon trocked Cain into killing his wife knowing he'd give up.

Fact is Abbadon feared the Mark. And dat was why she tried to kill Dean and Cain in Cain's house b4 Dean could get the Mark.

When Dean killed Abbadon, she tried pinning him to the wall telepathically. But the power of the mark was just too strong. And Dean was able to overcome Abbadon with it.

If u ask u, i'd say it wasn't even a fair fight. Coz Abbadon had no chance against the mark

Oh pls yes the blade made him powerful but he wasnt invulnerable neither was he insusceptible to attacks, she could hv moved the blade out of range, or instead of trying to pin him to the wall she could hv flinged him away or snapped his neck and teleport with the blade, there are lots of things one can do with telekinesis.

True. But snapping his neck would ve made it too easy na. If its by snapping necks, Azazel and pretty much every other demon/angel could ve easily snapped both their necks as early as season 1 and story would ve ended.

The writers would do anything just to advance the plot. Even when its obvious the plot should ve ended yrs ago....
