Nothing compares to safari on phone, sleek & fast... i have opened facebook on chrome and hurriedly open it on safari (on the same phone and a poor/average network that day), but guess what? The one on safari opened and loaded faster before the one in chrome ...the only -ve is that it consumes data faster, but who suffer-head speed epp?

I switched totally to Ucweb this year as I prefer it to Opera Mini.
I used opera mini for many years, not having the thought for abandoning it, buh like they say, shii happens.

1. Opera doesn't load all the contents on a page sometimes. You can even be filling a form online, just to fill the last stuff, and all of a sudden, all what you filled above disappear.
2. I can't stream online with my own Opera (I don't know about you).
3. You can hardly be downloading and still browsing same time, one has to wait for the other. (I can start 6 downloads on ucweb and still browse).

What I enjoy on Opera mini.
I open many tabs. Sometimes, up to 40, Ucweb is limited to 10.

How about you?

Opera mini for data economy but dont usr it to fill any form, instead use ur phone native browser or chrome.

The Hi browser on Tecno's new User interface, HiOS is worth mentioning.

It runs on the kind of chromium engine that makes google chrome what it is.

Plus there are other subtle and smart control in the browser.

I have installed and uninstalled many browsers on many phones and devices too , I just end up coming back to Firefox .

Again it works with flash when u install the old version of adobe flash players

Both of them suck. U already have the best android browser as stock on ur phone which is chrome browser. People just have this feeling that default is not good enough.

Unless u prefer to compress ur web pages that is where opera comes in. And I see no reason why someone would choose uc browser over chrome except when downloading. If u open 7 tabs on uc and navigate away to another app just for a few minutes , by the time u return the app would have closed and start afresh thereby closing all ur tabs. so whats good about that?

What happen on my Android L device is the inverse of what you stated.

I can open up to 10 tabs on UC, play games and still come back to continue what I'm doing without the app restarting/delay, but If I use Chrome to open 5 tabs for instance, if I switch from tab 1 to tab 5 and I do a little browsing on tab 5, what I'm reading on tab 1 is gone already by the time I'll switch back to tab 1.

Now imagine I minimize to do other stuff, the Chrome will definitely restart.

Chrome as well consumes a lot of RAM and end up lagging your device.

Well it's on depends on what work fine for you but as for me.........
Me I do stay away from Chrome oo.

I use 5 different kinds of browsers (2 mini and 3 full web browsers) in my smartphone. They are all important and serve different purposes.

Did you read where I wrote that it's built on a Chromium engine, the kind that makes Google chrome what it is?

And who told you that HiOS copied google chrome in its browser?

Are you aware that the chromium engine/browser is the open-source web browser project from which Google Chrome draws its source code. The browsers share the majority of code and features, though there are some minor differences in features and they have different licensing.

So, pray tell, how is HiOS browser Google chrome in disguise?

Uc browser 10.9.0 is the best thing that can happen to human.....
It speed is same as the speed of light.
It features even more than chrome.
You can stream live videos and mp3 on it.
You can make your pic it's default theme.
It loads two pages at once saving you MB.
No browser can compete.

Chrome only serves me on PC, but for phone, it's UC browser all the way, it's fast download been the major reason why I prefer it.

Opera mini is used for all other purpose except filling of forms or application documents.
For application documents, use your default browser or Mozilla Firefox
