@tritri: i dont think its cool the way you attacked the rosabon guy, if u have experienced something negative with them..... present it here.

For someone like me, i only got to know about financial houses here and at the same time got to know about the fantastical fraud going on in some of them. information is power.

For the person that asked the question, i visited their office in yaba few weeks ago to attach face to the company and that was actually whn i saw a advert by Linda ikeji celebrating their 23yrs anniversary.

Honestly they spoke well but personally not ok with the rate (guess it because of my principal 1m for 30days ). Presently monitoring their reports, hopefully i may reconsider 90days when my stanbic fd drop.

Thanks bros. And that's what information
can do to a man. I'm happy cos the more people like him kept saying what they don't know. Guys that are serious kept monitoring our services .have said it often times that if anyone has heard or had any ugly news or experienced with Rosabon, let him present it here.

Whenever I see the t.bills rate rising while FBN money market is stagnant. I just go angry. Imagine a 7.99% for 91days, discounted rate oh!!! Meanwhile FBN MMF dey gimme 7%. Rubbish

There is a difference between a treasury bill and a money market mutual fund each with its characteristics, pros and cons, and because mutual funds charge fees you do not expect them to pay what TBs pay

@Houstency from the last auction the stop rate was 11.0000 maeaning so many banks will sligthly give thier customers something lower than 11% for 365days.We should also have it in mind that budget has just been signed meaning interest rate may gear up slightly(Some analyst should tell us better).
Your question if you should fill form,it depends on you and no bank may accomodate request on the auction day which is just tomorrow.

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Timmi: 8:02pm On May 18, 2016
CBN held a T-bill auction earlier today, where it sold N32.4bn 91-day bills, N22.8bn 182-day bills and N55.7bn 364-day bills at 8.10%, 9.20% and 12.48% stop rates respectively. These stop rates were higher than the last auction on the 4th of May, most likely in reflection of the higher yields in the secondary market.

Good one,at least banks should give guys nothing less than 11% for 364days.I believe this is as a result of the fact that the economy is experiencing crises.
This is the time to invest,i foresee a higher yield next auction too.

why should you be interested in 364 days at the present rate, when it is clear that the rates could get to 14 % in a matter of months. Latter you go come dey ask how u go sell am.
