WHAT PMB TOLD BBC HAUSA SERVICE LAST FRIDAY
'When as a minister in the 70s i built Warri and Kaduna refineries together with 20 deports and several kilometers of pipe lines....... Aliko Dangote is building a refinery capable of refining 650, 000 barrel a day, we are also going to repair the four refineries all these will be completed within two years. All the channels of oil theft will then be blocked and those who happen to be alive will witness a rich and better Nigeria. After all that, if Nigerians choose to elect thieves as their leaders again...it is left to them."

Dis man self.

Don't he know that governance is more than just fighting corruption.

In as much as I want him 2 fight corruption 2 standstill, he should also come out with some ideas of addressing

Our Economy.

Not an economy that allocate more fund to Ministry of information more than the Agriculture.

And u say u want 2 diversify Economy.

very sincere and straight forward leader but unfortunately Nigerians are not ready to pay the painful price to be great again.

Imagine some youth protesting for Dasuki to be left alone.

okay am touched if he can achieve this, but other issues with him is that he often too silent on important issues, the nigga should also talk about steady power and our to diversify our economy, security and many other stuff,it is becoming embarrassing to be a nigerian

The fact that he still believes that Nigeria's source of wealth and development has to be oil is just 'amazing' then again, no need to be surprised cos he's obviously stuck in a certain time warp.

This man Buhari should think before talking.Don't take Glory of another man's effort. The refineries you claimed you built where in motion before you became a minister of petroleum. The adminstraction which you served under did a completion of the refineries project. However, a sitting head of state or president takes all the Glory and blame of his adminstraction not his appointees. So zip it.
Nevertheless, owing to your assertion about your building refineries, your current media fight against corruption should be credited to EFCC chairman-magu not you.

If truly this government is sincere about diversification of our economy, it does not take forever, nor does it require waiting endlessly for the budget allocation.

- A simple "WILL" & "ACTION" announcing incentives to farmers, with promise of buying their excess.

- Utilize and redistribute the existing mechanized farming instrument across the country. (E.g, Tractors, etc)

- As done my the former Minister of Agriculture Mr. Adeshina, continue to provide hybrid seedlings to farmers at subsidized rates.

- Where possible provide enabling farming environment through the provision of farmlands across the 6 Geopolitical zones in the country or partnering with states and willing industries to support the diversification project.

- Make readily available Organic Manure and Fertilizers to Farmers across the country.

I simply believe that, making a simple policy statement with a focused direction toward agriculture in the short-run don't require huge capital allocation. Just a statement and 'body language' will suffice.

God bless Nigeria.
