Pls How long does it take the bank to debit one's account after a successful bid. My bid was successful from yesterday's auction, but am still yet to get a debit alert on my account. GT Bank to be precise. Could something be wrong?

If you have confirmed the bid was successful, you don't have to worry. You will be debited tonight or tomorrow.

Pls I need more orientation here, I submitted a bid on Friday through first bank and my account was debited instantly same day, but to my surprise my account was credited back yesterday informing me that my bid didn't went thru. Is this the norm, and also end of the month interest wasn't given on my balance.

Each bank have the way they operate. This is the way first bank operate. They debit before the bid day. I have experienced same with them, though on bond not TB.

You should have told the officer that you wanted to buy from the last auction, I was at access bank to purchase the June 1st t-bills but they were giving me those funny rates and days but I insisted on what I wanted. I did 182 days and I got almost 9percent. Better than first bank for now

Guys, I'm know many of us probably lost at the last bid, no one could envisage that the rate could fall that much!!!!!!!!

Moving forward; What are the rate possibilities this week? Rate to rise or further fall?

Many times here it's been said that you should drop ur bid request a day before action date which is Wednesday 15th, that mean you must drop ur bid tomorrow 14th.

CBN conducted a NTB auction earlier today where it sold N48.1bn 91-day, N29bn 182-day and N152bn 364-day bills at 8.00%, 9.35% and 11.99% stop rates. We highlight that the total of N229bn worth of bills was higher than the N152bn offered while the stop rates on were higher on the 182-day and 364-day bills than the last auction.
