Pls, what's d current percentage on T-bills, cos presently I'm on Fixed deposit and I will like to switch to T-bills. Pls, I will like to know what rate Ecobank is offering, I want to do it b4 my next maturity date for d investment.

T.Bills rates are not static. It is better to send a mail to their contact centre on ENGcontactcentre@ecobank.com or better still call them on 0700 500 0000 to confirm their actual rate.

You guys should just stop confusing people with your fake auction date.

Next auction should next week wednesday. First bank will deduct you by tomorrow, if you have applied.

Go to your bank and request for termination. Percentage of the upfront interest will be deducted from your money

wao FBN Just Credited me with interest of N63,916.27. For N500,000.00 tbill. Is this secondary market or was there an auction yestarday? What % is this?

CBN conducted a NTB auction earlier today where it sold N48.1bn 91-day, N29bn 182-day and N152bn 364-day bills at 8.00%, 9.35% and 11.99% stop rates. We highlight that the total of N229bn worth of bills was higher than the N152bn offered while the stop rates on were higher on the 182-day and 364-day bills than the last auction.

I wanted to venture into TB for the first time starting with 90 days in GTB: what reasonable % do you think I can quote for June 29?

NB: June 1 = 7.9
June 15 = 8.0

You need to tell us the duration (91, 182 or 364 days) to be able to calculate the rate.

But waiting till a day before the auction might be too late as I intend to submit my bills request today and am thinking of going for one year..I just hope the 14.99 still works till then.

Inflation is a major driver of the higher rates...then throw in low liquidity Created by the new forex policy on the banks into the mix

Hello I went to zenith bank, and they refused to give me the rates. Saying the bank will do the bargaining on our behalve and get the best rate for the T.bills. So after pressuring them for a while, they said the that of 90d should be around 8+, 182d shouldn't be more than 9.+ and finally 364d goes at 11.+

So I filled the form, and they insisted the minimum I could place is 1mil. I mean am willing to but thought T.Bills is from 100k up?

And now that the rates seem to be going up, I suspect they will still insist on that rate. Which other bank will you guys recommend? If possible, one that I get to make my own bid. Can't trust zenith with this their fishy style and since I've been reading this thread, surprising am still to see a soul that bought from them. Is there a reason you guys are running from them?

Make una no mind my questions oh... Just help a brother.
