The gallant Nigerian soldier Henry Edobor -who celebrated his birthday on a 'low-key' few months back at the battlefield -escaped death yesterday following a battle with Boko Haram insurgents far in the northeast. He sustained only a minor injury after his right ear was grazed by a bullet during gun battle.

Henry who shared the good news on his page wrote; To God be the glory" gun shot on my ear during exchanging fire wt BOKO HARAM today's pls help me to thank God.

The weapons used by our Nigerian soldiers has improved over the past couple of months... The addition of knives to the ak47s is quite an interesting thing...

Though I believe the knife used with this soldier's ak47 should be better than that...

It should actually be longer..

The most gruesome part is that, they get their funds and supply (Maybe) from other larger Terrorist group or even other countries' government not excluding our government too though.

Hmm. I would look into that video u mentioned..

Though we just must notice that the weapons aren't as bad as before... They have more cartridges for their ak47s.. Unlike before when i see a maximum of two.. Nowadays i see a minimum of three attached..

That's an AK47 that does 600 rounds per minute. Rugged and easy to maintain. You would prefer them to carry modern assault rifles like the Bull Pup that have dodgy accuracy over 150 yards and are only good for urban close quarter fighting.

This weapon is perfectly adequate for the mission at hand. I am sure if he let's off a few rounds with you standing at 200 yards, you or your surviving relatives will be able to attest to the efficacy of this weapon.

Please let's not not give comfort to our mutual enemies.
