5 Things You Should Know If You Are Using A Phone With A Non-removable Battery by matrixx9(m): 10:39am On Jun 18, 2016
I wasn't really a big fan of phones with non-removable batteries until I
got a phone with one (the OBI SF1). Since I got the phone as part of
payment for a sponsored review for a post I made about the phone on my blog. I decided to go with it. It's the sixth month I'm using the
phone and I must say that devices with non-removable batteries can
scare the hell out of you. My phone can not be dismantled since it
doesn't have any screws. However some other users get lucky to buy a phone with a non-removable battery that can be dismantled..

Now Here Are Some things you should know if you are using a Device
With a non-removable battery or you're planning to buy one..
1. What To Do When Your Device Freezes (Starts Hanging)
In a normal device when this happens you can simply remove your
battery and put it back, everything will be OK after that. Unfortunately
for those of us using phones with non-removable batteries it's like a
bad dream.
There are 2 types of Freezing

A. Hard Freeze - This is when your device, Freezes for over 10 minutes
without responding.

Solution : Simply soft reboot the phone by holding the volume +,
volume down and power button at the same time for about 30
seconds. Your device should reboot and unfreeze.

B. Soft Freeze - This is just a temporarily freeze
Solution Just drop the phone for some minutes it should unfreeze after
some minutes. When it unfreezes quickly clear all the apps you've been
running and reboot the phone.

2. How To Handle Overheating

Since you can't remove the battery and allow the phone to cool. The
best solution is to place your phone on a cold surface (please not
inside a freezer or refrigerator). You may place it on a cold sachet of
water.
After some minutes your phone should be cool as ice..

3. What To Do When Phone refuses to turn on
This can be really scary but it can be handled. Hold the power button
for about a minute or 2 if your phone is still working you it'll come on. If it doesn't well try charging it

4. Your Phone Is Charging Slowly.
I made a post previously on that on my blog
so I won't bore you with more of the details on that. There are 10
possible reasons
You can see full details here.

10 Reasons Why Your Smartphone May Be Charging Slowly

5. Never Let Your Phone Fall Into Water
Unlike Phones with removable batteries.. There's no guarantee your
device will be OK after falling into water unless you're using the Galaxy
S7.. Or any water proof Smartphone..
I drop my pen at this point..

Kudos.. You beat me to it. Was planning on creating a thread like this..

The most important thing to consider.
-If you are purchasing a phone/tab with in-built battery, make sure you check reviews online, and go for a very good brand.
Phones with in-built batteries are the best

Or you can just buy an iPhone and forget about running apps hanging your phone or your phone getting very hot . The only thing you'd have to guard your phone against is water . Oya , android fanatics start to dey talk . Hate it or love it, no phone handles apps like the iPhone . And before you start talking I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 and an iPhone 6s . Not saying it's a must to have an iPhone but if you can afford it, please do and save yourself the troubles of owning a droid . My 2 cents.

... Even if I'm as rich as Dangote an iPhone still remains a no for me.. As a techie, I need an operating system that is flexible and Android provides all that.. Unlike ios or Windows devices.. I'll have to put in my atm card details before downloading an app on an iPhone just imagine.. sad.. You can't share apps with an iPhone... And so many flaws.. If I want an iPhone I'll simply tweak my phone with an iPhone like custom Rom and I'm good to go.

. We all want to maximize the potentials of our various Mobile devices now don't we . Now the thing is you just can't pick up a smart phone and expect it to perform huge tasks without having to tune it . With android it's called rooting and with iPhone , it's jail breaking ... Jailbreak an iPhone and I guarantee that it will do twice the job any rooted droid will do and do it better . There's no limit to the iPhone . And trust me fam , if you have dangote's money, you'll have an iPhone . iPhone bridges the gap between tech savvy and status . I can't say anything about Windows OS, I don't have one . But as far as droids and IPhones are concerned o, I have both and I will always vouch for the iPhone . * And BtW , most of the everyday apps on IOS are free . And you don't need to add your card details to use the App Store . I don't . Just Create your Apple ID just as you would create a google play ID and when asked for card, click none . *

This is a good attempt at blogging and I won't mind clicking on your link just to generate traffic for you.
You are researching and putting out good informative contents.
Not like those copy and paste bloggers that focus only on entertainment.

My phone power button stop working and I was like when did this start? Something I just use some minutes ago.

Omo no money for new phone yet ooo, the only option I had was to turn on the aeroplane mode, I did that and return it back to normal mode and it started working fine...

The aeroplane mode helps a lot, like when I change sim, I don't need to switch off my phone, all I have to do is on the aeroplane mode and return it back to normal the new inserted sim wil pick up service...

He's absolutely right. The only time you are asked to pay when registering an apple ID is when you try to register it directly from the app store or iTunes. Instead just open your app store, search for a free app like Facebook and try to download it. Along the line it'll bring payment options and also none. Just click on none and you are good to go.

If you really want to know the feel of using a smart phone then get an iPhone and you'll never regret it. Jailbreaking it takes it to another level completely. You'll love it.
