Passport loading.

100% true. I have the communique. JOHESU had meeting today with FG at the Conference hall of MoLE and came up with this. I've been trying to download it here but not been able to.

so it's very very true.

To start with resident doctor are not yet doctors but doctor on training, they are the ones we call baby doctors, so the tittle of this tread is misleading.

The residents doctors are still students but get paid more than level 12 officers in federal civil service.

Residency must not be done in government hospital but for you to be a specialist you must go through residency, so any babydoctor that feel cheated should go to a private hospital for residency where he will paid 25k allawee

Your ignorance is shocking. Absolutely shocking

How will the Senate not go dumb when we keep vilify them every day.. Because of buhari. Even Labour have been destroyed by Nigerians because of buhari support. Pressure groups have their use. I just hope when we really need them, it will not be too late.

But my friend, seriously the people you've mentioned are also helpless because even the little threats from Labour that other previous governments consider important has been seen as nothing in this government all because of the high-handedness of the current leadership in the country!

The truth is that, they are tired of shouting since its not listened to or continue to have dialogues which demands/compromises will not be heeded to or enforced.

Oga intellectual then educate me what a resident doctor is,

Residency is a stage of graduate medical training. A resident or house officer is a physician (one who holds the degree of M.D., D.O., D.P.M. or MBBS, MBChB, or BMed) who practices medicine usually in a hospital or clinic under the direct or indirect supervision of an attending physician. Successful completion of a residency program is a requirement to obtaining an unrestricted license to practice medicine in many jurisdictions. Residency training may be followed by fellowship or "sub-specialty" training.

Link to wherever you quoted this from let me report the imbecilic nature of the information being delivered to people like you.

Non sense.

After residency then fellowship. You have watched too much Grey's anatomy.

Isn't it money that they(fg) will use to pay the new ones? Won't they still pay them their entitlements? Why don't they aswell pay the striking ones their entitlements and end the strike.
Dumb govt

It is you that don't know anything, because if you know how to peruse any person will know from the tone the disengagement letter sent to health institution that resident doctors are not employee hence the use of the word " training programme " your annoyance should be directed at ministry of health for ordering the replacement of those who absconded with those on waiting list. If truly resident doctors are employees they should take their case to industrial court but they can't they are not employees but trainees they are heavily paid are spoilt

... and the ranting continues ...#sighs... just take friendly advice, take time, browse, read, and educate yourself fully about the resident doctor, what it means etc and then reply, not this your knee jerk emotional approach and referral to some so called government letter that the minister and perm sec have denied knowledge of in a meeting. Like someone said previously, this is exactly how they hold us down...

Mister, a resident doctor is NOT a baby doctor!!! Are u even familiar with the Residency Training Program in Nigeria?! I don't think so. Do u know the stress, worry and hustle involved in getting placement in the in-country RTPs?! I know of one or two private hospitals that have RTPs. And these programs are nightmares!!! I apologize if I was insultive earlier, but I'm really tired and fed up with people who are obviously not well informed with what's going on, coming and casting aspersions on the sacrifices we make and the humongous challenges we face daily trying to save lives. U don't know the half of it man...
