Think well b4 u relocate because Lagos hustle is like facing they dreaded Boko boys in Sambisa especially for New comers.

Weigh your options, be ready to accept responsibility for your decisions.

I left Kaduna some years ago while everything was Ok to Lagos. In Lagos, I felt like I was in military base. I had to leave as I couldn't cope even when I have relatives.

That single decision to move to Lagos affected me so bad but I have learnt my lesson.

it's best you leave and experience the taste of another environment. I have been living and working in Port Harcourt for 3 year's now and I came to discover that an average indigene haven't crossed the borders of Port Harcourt. It's that terrible and it limits their way of thinking and associating with outsiders.
I advice u go out there and explore life irrespective of what it has to offer.

Lagos na hell fire o! I advice you to come over prepared. Not just financially but mentally,because this city will break you no matter how strong you are.

The noise is hellish
The traffic is crazy
The people are ruthless
Every day life is tough and being jobless here is death. You can come and be lucky but trust me you don't wanna base ur trip on luck.


And oh, everybody in Lagos is crazy except me. I mean that literally.

No vacancy in Lagos. The deportation will resume shortly, especially as militants are now ravaging Lagos suburbs.

You can try Uyo, Onitsha, or Yenogoa. They are not far.

I was born in Lag, did my pry, secondary and tertiary education in Lag, working as an underemployed contract staff of one mumu company like that. #sad.
I can't wait to grab any opportunity that will hasting my relocation from Lagos. I do travel sometimes, and I so much love the stress free life in those states I've travelled to.
Bros, I will advice you to relocate to other state if u will have means of livelihood over there because Lagos live is stressful and expensive (accommodation, transportation, feeding, excessive taxation especially if u are mobile, desperate fraudsters everywhere, agberoh, thugs etc)
amidst all these Lagos is free from terror , Lagos is a land for adventurous hustler, Lagos will sharpen your IQ, Lagos is a beautiful state, lovely n funful beaches to cool off if u have cash.

So what you are saying in essence is that, everybody staying in Lagos are millionaires and billionaires right?

Oga, you better remain in PH at least your family members are there. Lagos is tough I mean TOUGH. It's for people with large heart. You don't need to travel from your state to another or out of the country before you can make it in life. All you need to make it is within you. Even me wey dey hia dey find as I go relocate to Kogi or kwara because that place is less expensive and cool. I served there i.e Kogi and you can start a cool business there without anybody harassing you. Electricity is 100%.

Please find the reasons below why you should remain with your family in PH:

i, So many graduates in Lagos are unemployed,
ii, You can't do private business here in Lagos without hiring an office otherwise kick against indiscipline(KAI) will arrest and drag you to court,
iii, Cost of living is too high here not to talk of hiring an office,
iv, Electricity is zero and
v, Traffic jam everywhere in Lagos.

KAI people work from 7am to 10pm daily to ensure no selling outside your shop, no crossing expressway without taking the pedestrian bridge etc.

Think about it and thank me later.

since you are working presently, i would advise you to remain in PH for a while and gather money together to seeking employment abroad either in country like dubai, canada, saudi arabia, qatar etc. though av nt been to ph but hardly i could encourage someone to relocate to lagos except if the person in question is an unemployed individual and he want to go there to hustle but not someone who is working,,,, pls think rightly b4 taking ur final decision or you can embark on a week/month vacation to lagos to experience what lagosians encounter on a daily basis. may God guide you right.

You can't just live your job and relocate just like that.. Have u been promised a job in Lagos yet?

Why not take two or three weeks leave of office and survey Lagos state and see if u can adapt to their ways....Do not think the grass is greener else where...

Better Still, why not maintain the hard work u have been putting up in PH. and only use Lagos as a holiday destination...

I suggest u sit and plan about it...or it will be a bad decision u may regret...

Lagos is HARSHER economically by far than PH, so don't bother to move because it is more like moving from cat's den to lions den. PH is ok at least you can trek from Waterlines to Agip or from mile-1 to Town, everywhere is almost close to each other, but there is no trekkable distance in Lagos, everywhere is just far from each other particularly a beginner like you, you will smell pepper.

Be careful my brother, stay where you know already than venturing into an unknown with JUST a matchet and a stick.

You don't need to have relatives before you can survive in Lagos. So long you a legendary hustler you will survive n you will make it in Lagos.
