If we have a united southern nigeria. I think our dream can be achieved
majority of our south western brothers no go gree.they believe by doing that thier beloved brothers in the north will be hurt which will later hurt thier political career in the future.sinc north has the numbers in politics.

How will you get true federalism in Nigeria? You need 2 thirds to pass a bill in the NASS on true federalism. The core North are totally against it and they have the largest voting block in Nigeria. Where will the 2 thirds come from? Even if all the southern reps at the NASS voted for true federalism, they won't get even up half the votes needed to push it through. As far as Nigeria is concerned, true federalism is a dead issue.
You keep lumping the geographical area called North Central into tour description of the north. But you need to understand that the typical man from Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Plateau would be very happy to break away from the domination of the core Hausa-Fulani north. The only reason why the north central hasnt declared this is because they are waiting for the politically naive and confused southern zones to get their acts together and speak with one voice on the issue of regional governments. The thing stopping Nigeria from returning to regional govts isnt the north as is always alleged; the only thing stopping the return of regionalism is the foolishness of the southern zones to speak with one voice on the issue.

God you are all-knowing, our situation can never give you goose pimples, no, never because you know all. What I am asking as an Igbo man is, dear Lord God! In this wrecked nation, may we always pick our survival daily with or without Nigeria for if you will always stay near we will know no nigh. These I pray through Christ our Lord.

Biafra must never come. I'm afraid the igbos will be developed in few years if declared. They are technologically sound and we need their expertise to build Nigeria. We must all stand against biafra. We are Nigerians first before been our tribes. Lord luggard saw a potential in us before merging us together. The only way to kill biafra agitations is to keep Nnamdi kanu locked up. As for Soyinka, he is a disgrace to we yorubas. No sane yoruba man will be pro biafra. One nigeria till death do us apart sad

Thats pure selfishness and self-centered reason.I am a proponent of regionalism instead of outright splitting an I think thats what every sane Nigerian should propagate. It will not only engender healthy competition but a true sense of equity and fairness.

Every meaningful Igbo man won't jump up and down on Prof's comment.

I believe the just course of the agitation is known to many but they decide to shy away from the truth.

I am not surprised with the number of pages this thread has. The truth is quite bitter especially when it comes from an illustrious son of the Land.

We all know why an Igbo man can't rule. The fear of mass exodus is the beginning of Naija's wisdom!

The only thing that is stopping the realisation of Independent Biafra or nothing other than the igbos themselves.....why because the are not agitating in a civil manner and the are been hypocritical as you will hear them the next day complaining about they are given few appointments in what they don't believe in or what they called zoo.......I assure all igbos if they will all resign from government positions and jobs and embark on indefinite strike in no time their dreams will come true....but they are the highest applicants of npower, police recruitment and the rest.....nobody will take your course serious until you people take it serious by taking bold step not insulting others and threatening people with war.....all you need to do is civil disobedience by forfeiting anything that has to do with Nigeria....wish you people the best of luck

Stop being silly, Igbo are not interested in bringing you guys into Biafra. Did you not read recently where MASSOB asked the UN to split Nigeria into six different countries? The clearly separated Biafra from Niger Delta.

All we are in terested in is Igboland which includes our lands carved into Rivers state in 1976 and Delta north, simple.

The rest of you 'We SS' can go and form your Niger Delta Republic, we don't give a fvck about that.

Go and sleep and stop feeling important.

We have told you people many times that we don't want you and we don't need you yet y'll keep shouting 'Leave us alone, we are not part of your Biafra' everyday like mad chickens.

Once again, Igbos don't want you and we don't need you!!!

I hope that sinks in this time.

I want to say this not just because I am an Igbo **** The minds of the people have been beclouded with hatred. I was at Cele express(in Lagos) in 2012. when I asked one man to shift for me on a seat that he was the only occupant there, he just told me "you no say Ojukwu don die, I will kill you here and nobody will fight for you" I quickly alighted from the bus and searched for another one. When I visited my brother in Jos, an Hausa man came to buy something from our shop and after serving him, I requested for my money. He just told me "Nyamri do don doya you think say here na your place" and threatened me. Here at Aba, one soldier and one man were misunderstanding each other one day (though the soldier was wrong) and when people gathered, they exclaimed "so na Hausa man go come here come do wetin? No one is always interested in the cause but the tribe involved . The worst is that even children now grow with it.****

cool Blame Nnamdi Kanu for opening the can of worms. cool
