Hello all.

My BlackBerry Q5's battery has recently decided to frustrate my life. It turns off at will, I'll plug it in to charge and den it shows 100% after 5mins. I am not sure it's a battery issue cos 2 other of my colleagues are having the same issue and it all started at about same time as mine.Please what can I do to remedy this?

As I type this its showing 0% while it's been plugged in for the past 1 hour.

Have a good phone engineer check your device and troubleshoot with another Q5 battery...

Please house airtel has finished me. I subscribed to airtel unlimited (1.5k for 3g) and under a week my data exhausted. I know I visit instagram like mad but nothing unusual. Please I need data plans from MTN or Etisalat. Glo network isn't strong in my area.

*Please if there is whatsoever I need to switch off on my phone so my data could last a little longer someone kindly tell me. Thanks

Airtel BB data plans are charged at double rate...so your 3GB data cap is effectively 1.5GB on an android, iphone or BB10 device. you only get that 3GB data count on a legacy BB device (9810 et al)

subscribe to any regular data plan especially now that the networks are throwing data at people

a friend told me she uses MTN 1k for 1.5G which lasts for a month on her android phone. and she said she downloads and streams movies online. Again, she has never had any cause to switch off her data for once according to her o. You can try it out maybe it works for you too.

I launch the fb lite app and it's saying data of... switch on data in settings... even my android based instantaneous was working fine... now it's not even connecting... except I use wifi.... all other apps are good just these two apps.. help!

The way airtel charge people for their mb, no be for here. When I used to use their bis on my android, I no go download reach 900mb before I hear sey data don finish (I knew through my data monitor). When I called customer care, he was just talking jargons, but the summary of his talk was that airtel charges more per kb, than other telecommunication firms in Nigeria. To ans your question, simply go to your network settings names "mobile network" (you will see it when you swipe from the top of your screen downwards, on the homescreen). Under "data services", swipe to the left to disable, and swipe to the right to enable. I advice you port to glo. 1400k (used to be 1k before) for 3gb. If you are not careful, you no go use am finish before 30days. If you are an heavy data user, kukuma vex and do 10gb for 2500. Runs both night and day. One love

However, BlackBerry phones with the BB10 OS, like your BlackBerry Classic, have the unique feature of downloading and using Android Apps. So, you can download the Android version of WhatsApp on your BlackBerry Classic.

check that youtube is working..i have also noticed glo data is slowing down significantly and some pages even struggle to come up...might be a problem with the network rather than devices
