The last time I checked there was no major multinational doing major oil exploration in Oron land.

The biggest oil endeavour in the whole of Akwa Ibom State is the QIT or Qua Ibeno Terminus owned by Mobil at Eket/Esit-Eket/Onah axis.

Lets know the major oil exploration both onshore and offshore being conducted in the Oron Area.

Not forgetting their Friendly Disposition, they are hospitable to the core.
They don't discriminate a total stranger irrespective of where you come from.

I grew up in Oron, did my primary school there (Infant Jesus International Nursery and Primary School- Graduated in 2001, primary 5). Hoping to visit there soon.

QIT is a terminal, not an oil field. Terminals are oil storage facilities, not oil producing facilities.

Eket and Esit Eket produce zero oil, they do not even have coast lines and do not border the ocean. As you know, almost all Akwa ibom oil is produced offshore and the only places in Akwa Ibom that have coast line are Eastern Obolo LGA, Ibeno LGA, Mbo LGA (Oro), Udung Uko LGA (oro), and Oron LGA (Oro). So 3 of the 5 local govt areas in Akwa Ibom that have coast line are Oro nation LGAs.
