This is interesting, I would have thought that the bits would plentiful in Europe.

Well the RRS is native to England, but we have RHD, in Europe its a bit scarce, the next home is teh US,

Why not source for an original LHD (albeit understanding it might be slightly more expensive to buy). But the cheaper RHD hooker might be cheaper to buy initially, but a hefty cost might be waiting on the other end, after all conversions are carried out.
And stories that touches the heart, starts to rear it's ugly head. Dropping expensive bills left, right and centre!!!

The RHD in the UK is more expensive than its coz in the USA by up to £10000.plus I got this car from brand new so I have had it since brand new

Eric, my advice?

I would sell your SUV, and replace it with a RHD one. A factory LHD Range Rover Sport is better than a poorly-converted RHD version, of the same car, even if it's not an Autobiography.

I would get the Autobiography trim installed, if you can't live without it.

Hmm how about the pop up gear knob .
I'm gonna be there when the conversion is being done and it would be to my standard . I'm trying to source all parts from a donor LHD . Cos I will lose £thousands if I sell it plus it's a Diesel Engine . They are more reliable

Sir, can't it be converted in the UK (love-vendor my ride) kind of and ship it after? I doubt if you would still enjoy this SUV after its done in Naija because there are so many factors you need to consider.

Yeh but then we got the customs problem . Car is a RHD on V5 document unless we butcher the car into a container .
So what factors do you think ?

I have done this b4 for my Dad's SUV and a passat as well.it was all good no leakage of any sort then.
For the wiper I'm buying wiper motor and blades from a LHD donor motor .
For wiring . I'm buying new set of wiring loom from a donor motor hence I was asking for EgunMogaji'so help so no cutting of wire and even if I'm going g to cut . I doing same thing I did b4.buy proper gauge of wires and use a proper splitter and joiner
Complete LHD AC piping and Break lines.

I would strongly advice you to reconsider this undertaking.

I agree because even if you get all the conversion 100 percent correct, I can't recommend that anyone will be safe in that vehicle. The manufacturer safety will be heavily compromised and the electrical will be a ticking danger for the occupant

I would follow Siena's advice, never been a fan of conversions

Coupled with the fact that in Naija for ease of maintenance, as in what mechanics are used too, I would look at buying a petrol.

A logical approach would be to price up all the required parts, get a quote for labour (at least 25% of parts cost) then compare it to selling your current RHD and buying a LHD.

I would be amazed if it isn't cheaper to buy and sell.
