I think gionee will find it difficult to get buyers for this phone in nigeria. There are basically 2 groups of consumers in nigeria, the ones that buy sub 50k phones and the ones that buy high end phones. Anyone that can afford to spend 140k on gionee phone would rather add more money and buy a Samsung, Sony, LG, htc or iPhone.

This is the same thing that happened with Peugeot. They sell their cars as premium /luxurious but still not on par with German cars. And what's the result, average men would buy Toyota and Honda while the rich ones would rather buy a Benz,BMW or other German cars leaving peugeot in no man's land.

Its only in battery that I can say tecno is better, most infinix phones have very low battery juice. Meanwhile, tecno phones are always overhyped and overpriced under-performers with awful designs

The price of m6 plus in a country like India is 32000 convert to Naira, that's almost 150k. Exchange rate 4.7. As at last year. It would have been half the price.

Yes I am that dumb but not as dunce as you have appeared to be, these two phones are of the same caliber with the likes of Gionee, iTel, Malata and what have you, and within that caliber any one's utmost priority in any zoo where electric supply is a gargantuan challenge should be battery-time longevity which the Tecno L8 Plus edges them all, (at least for now) you're talking of old chipset (MTK) as if Candy Crush/Subway Surfer addicted Nigerian buyers care, whilst forgetting that these are just for mid-low-budget buyers, if I'd want something that packs real punch ofcourse Huawei P9+, Sony Z5 is there.

43K that was last December.... Its 65+ now i guess

But why is nobody talking about the high end packed features. It has 128GB internal storage. It came with security chips, the battery is 6020mah, it has 4gb RAM, Fingerprint etc.
