Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday refused to answer a question on the ongoing anti-corruption war of the present administration which has led to the investigation and prosecution of many of his aides. During an interview with State House correspondents after he met with President Muhammadu Buhari behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Jonathan said it would not be appropriate for him to speak on the matter because many of the cases were pending in court. He however said the meeting which lasted less than 20 minutes afforded him the opportunity of briefing Buhari of his recent international engagements and future ones. On the renewed violence in the Niger Delta, Jonathan said it was appropriate for him and traditional rulers in the area to mediate in the matter. Source....http://punchng.com/visited-buhari-jonathan/

With the way APC and it's members, especially those in PMB administration badmouth this man on a daily basis, he still deem it fit to honour the President's invitation, that how humble and good hearted GEJ is. If it is some other people, he would be so filled with bitterness to the extent that he won't even be on talking term with the President. 8 Likes |
