What an average Nigerian need is proper education not hopelessness in form of atheism

Try to imagine the majority illiterate Nigerians having the mentality of most of the atheist on here, and imagine what state Nigeria will be in - I laugh in China. They make it seem like atheism is one savior the whorld needs.

As if atheism makes everything better

As if atheism brings peace

As if atheism helps me love better

As if atheism makes me blind to the flaws of others

And as if atheism makes wiser..... They should tell that to the lot of illiterate Nigerians (Not my great grandma that have been a witch and been dilivered and seen the power of God work)

Even Christians themselves can't agree on which one is right, Jehovah's witnesses believe only them is following the doctrine

Catholics believe only them is following the doctrine

And it divides and keeps dividing

Lol. This thread is really hilarious. Nairaland atheists are one of the funniest peeps I've come across. So they are telling us that this life, the only life we would ever have is meaningless? That we should just accept the finality of death like that? That all the activities during our life on here, the memories, are but a waste once one dies? That's absurd and scary.

If not for the existence of religion which is constantly checking on the deeds of men, I don't think the world would be half as peaceful as it is now. Although I admire bits of their philosophy and views towards life and also find some of their arguments rational and not out of place, but claiming that our world was all but a product of chance is profoundly foolish. It's understandable for a Non-Nigerian to stick to such line of thought, but for someone who was born and bred in Nigeria, it's quite pitiable I must say. What, You don't need a book to tell you that God exists before you believe he does exists. C' mmon just take a look at the world and let the foolishness of your actions dawn on you. I have seen enough. I have been there and back. Only thing I'm not convinced of yet is God's morality. Like is he really the compassionate loving God he says he is? That's what I can't explain to myself.
Atheists even assert with all conviction that the big bang theory was the cause to all there is in this universe. So what was the force behind that clash? Lol. If present day chstians could muster such huge faith, there wouldn't be any cases of world disasters. Even me would be able to teleport to anywhere I desire at the snap of my fingers.

Its not by force to go with one

As for the example you said makes no sense

Exactly, you're not compelled to guess, hence, you don't know, even if you know someone very well, you may still guess wrong

So I teach my lips to say "I don't know" that's why its totally wrong to think all us them have chosen the evolutionary theory

You mistake my statement. I didn't opine that atheism and evolutionism are same thing. I only said both go hand in hand like kerosine and match stick as regards "nairaland atheists".

If you don't believe the biblical God created the world, then definitely you are consciously/consciously standing on the counter to that fact - which is evolutionism aka accepting that the world appeared into existence without the influence of anything, and chance too. That's what's obtainable at the moment or what other rational notion there is to proffer.

You kept some paper currencies in the cupboard in your house and went out; on getting back, everything is gone. I think the only two possible explanation that can be given as to what caused that event, is either someone must have taken it, or a rat. Hope you now understand my point
