Alright. It's a very good point to keep in mind. When I think of my recent experiences and struggles, I remember the saying of the prophet (S.A.W) that a time will come when holding on to the deen will be like holding hot coal in the hand. Truly, such times have come right before our eyes. May Allah guide and help us all.

Ok let me give you a clue as to what i mean, when you see a gift wrapped beautifully, you don't know what is inside but you are attracted to it, i think that should give you a closer idea of what i meant....... I hate seeing men and women indecently exposed. Yes, I think I know what you are for, I only would like to understand the basis of that stance and if I can imbibe it up to that extent.

When I see a gift wrapped beautifully, I am attracted to it because the beautiful wrap I see. For what is inside, I only become anxious, nothing more. I don't admire physical beauty which I cannot see.

JazakAllahu khairan. The post was quite inspiring. I pray for Allah's Guidance upon the life of my sisters. Thou they are young, but they've made the Hijab amongst their Dressing code. I just pray they continue that way even when they get to meet the "Real World".

Remembered my own precious wife as at 2010 don't even use scarf, then later after getting admission used scarf, then graduated to pashmar abi what do you call it, then to half hijab covering up to the knee, then MaashaaAllaah late last year after our aakid JILBAAB! Covering from head to toes.
Sisters make effort, may Allaah ease it for you and accept it as act of ibaadah.
Brothers too please cut those your trousers sweeping the floor and leave that your beard the sunnah way, no slim fitting of beard. Its for sunnah not for fashion.
WaLlaahi things have really gone worse, we are doing the opposite of what should be, men drags the trousers whole ladies leave the lower garment above ankles.
Though AlhamduliLlaah, knowledge is circulating and people are submitting to Allaah.

Wa alaykum salaam warahmatAllaah, ofcourse its difficult, even difficult than cutting the trousers(talking from experience), but insha Allaah if you keep going you'll feel good about the beards, just make sure it is neatly kept, as for me i comb and oil whenever i have the chance to, it makes the beards look good, as for your family, with time they'll understand you, shaytan is just trying to make you feel bad, and as for your friends, walk with friends that has the same ideology as yours...


A quick tip, keeping the beards is scientifically recommended for men as it prevents cancer, you can research to confirm, so if thats the case, why will i for any reason shave my beards??

Wa alaykum salaam, i use shea butter, Yoruba people call it "orì" it was a brother that adviced me to use it when i was looking for a perfect oil to use, and WAllaahi its very nice, the "orì" makes the beards dark and nice...

You know this reminds me of the first time I decided to start wearing abayas outside. By Allah, I had only one abaya and that was it. It wasn't a fancy abaya, and to be honest, it was way too long for me.
I remember the first few times I wore it outside, I felt 'awkward' and I almost tripped many times. I thought people were staring at me but it was only waswas from shaytan.

People might be the first time but they will get used to it and so would you.You know, when you don't compromise your faith, the world gets used it.But you need make a firm decision within yourself to make this change.
