My dear this is not true o. The day we showed up at the airport to buy tickets to a certain destination, they asked if we were running away to get married. I had to book online for the next day, book a hotel for the layover and still had change compared to the price I was given at the counter.

Not true. I got to airport in NY, I saw $565 for a tkt to chicago on AA. Went home, booked online for $300+ against 2 days time. Meanwhile I saw it for $160+ a few weeks earlier

Torr! Maybe our destination was the problem but I have not tried buying at the airport after then. When you say online, is it the airline's website or the travel sites like expedia?

On my way back from Toronto to NY, I was asked why my kids were born in the US and if I paid. To be honest I was in a hurry but I had put the receipts in one of the handluggages so I just handed them to him as I was about to miss my flight.
Just a gentle reminder to always hold your receipts.

DW is using WHMC also but her doctor is Dr LA. You can research and check up his profile.

Back to your interview transcript. I think you should re-apply with your spouse. The chances are always higher .

As per sending, I just meant that Maryland hospitals are extremely expensive compared to other states. I also took the liberty of checking on the reviews of Prince George county hospital and I'm alarmed. Not to get you apprehensive but please find out more about the hospital. The reviews are bad, and if a bug can enter their NICU then its a big deal. I am staying at maryland but went all the way to virginia to birth. We cant be spending all this plenty money and not bring the result home.. God forbid!

Well, I'm not a doctor, but I majored in parasitology and after reading that article, a few things jumped out at me.
Pseudomonas: harmless parasite, just like staphylococcus. It exists in our day to day life but it could be terrible for people with low immunity, eg cancer patients,hiv patients, preterm or sick (NICU) babies. For healthy babies, it won't affect them, like your baby

The bug was found in water, people wash their hands before handling anything, thinking it's making a difference but only making things worse.

so the solution to this PG problem is using only sterile water in NICU.

They are trying to build a defense, that it wasn't the pseudomonas that killed those babies but their conditions. Wetin dem go talk b4?

My spouse is not in the country at the moment. I just have a month and few weeks left to edd. I am thinking of applying alone. I checked Dr La profile, i will call the office when it opens(time zone). Do you know how long it takes to get an appointment letter from him? And did your wife make any deposits?

Yer, bt it's not bacteria, it's an animal parasite. Dats y I took interest. Staph is bacteria, am clueless when it comes to those.

I am sorry for bugging you. I checked the US embassy on expedited date, one of the requirements is to get a letter from my doctor in nigeria stating my medical condition and why i need to travel. But my pregnancy is not complicated. How do i go about that. What does the doctor needs to write? Please house, if anyone has requested for expedited interview date what did your doctor state in your letter. I would appreciate your responses. Thanks and God bless

Hi, my pregnancy is uncomplicated as well and that is exactly what my Nigerian Doctor wrote in his report. My request for emergency appointment was approved same day. I think the important thing the embassy looks out for is the age of the pregnancy vis a vis when your normal appointment falls due. Please be sure to explain that in your comment box too. e.g I told them I was 29 weeks and that I will be 35 weeks by the time of normal appointment and so it does not afford me the opportunity to plan my journey properly and most airlines might not take me on their flights hence my need for emergency appointment.

So if you are looking at getting from them, go on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I can't get cos my travel date is almost here.
