Of course there are other big boiz, like the Madrids of this world, Bayern Münchens of this world et al, but I think he would do just fine. Plus, there is still a bit of time to get him with the groove and improve.

We have a fantastic number 9. The best in the world by a mile, and we need to make him as fruitful as possible, just as he is now. Not to make him less potent just to satisfy Messi's goal scoring tally. Hence, I prefer it the way it is now. My opinion though.

Well ur opinion is respected but i feel since messi is still our best player, he has to lead us in every dept., not just assists to suarez n neymar. I feel he should take all pks and necessary free kicks dis season wen on d pitch

I quite agree with you. That's only for those who have got the ability to think outside the box. Those who can would know that winning the league title is more difficult, and glorious than winning the champions league. The champions league has got a very high element of luck sometimes. If you get favourable draws it becomes very easy to win the champions league. Some teams play bayern, barca, chelsea, etc to get to the final while a luckier side could play wolfburg, roma, man city, etc to make the final. People only think the champions league is more glorious because its a competition of various league champions, but not everyone gets to play everyone. If the champions league was in a league format with 32 or probably 16 champions and runners up getting to play in a league format, only then would it be undoubtedly more glorious than the league tittle.

I think Messi's new role serves the team much better ; playing deeper, scoring less goals, creating for others, etc. But this new system gives the very selfish guy on the other side the edge to continue to win more and more ballon dors. Especially in a world where the number of tap-ins you score can win you the award. The only guy who can put that guy in his place FOR NOW is the god, no one else for now. So we must sit and enjoy messi sacrifice himself for suarez and the team, and then watch the other guy continue to score his way to more ballon dors and take them to the capital which we all despise. As much as I'd love Messi to keep amassing personal awards, the team comes first and with that in mind, I think the way it works now favours the team better. So I support you on this.

Team awards and trophies first before personal ones. As painful as this is, because I love Messi to always edge the other guy, but for the good of the team I would love Messi to keep sacrificing for the good of his teammates and the team in general. I could remember a certain Ronaldinho did same to Messi. Why not do the same with the upcoming? Moreover, this path Messi is taking is inevitable.
